enough with the halo games!!!!!!

yes these new halo games like halo wars, ODST, and reach are just great but is everyone forgetting about whats AFTER halo 3?! i mean i am not saying there will be something after it and dont even get me started on something like halo4 that people keep saying wont happen, but i seriouly think its time we got a halo game that is going to tell us stuff thats about what goes on after you supposedly finish the fight. i mean come on whats bungie going to do....explain what went down in the past for the rest of the time? i just thought by now we would at least get some previews or maybe clues to what maybe next. i dont know about you guys but these side games are getting very frustrating although they are awesome, its still annoying to just put whats after halo 3 aside. and if there is nothing after halo 3...then please just say it already so i can enjoy the other games which i right now think are meaningless.

This is what happens when people take video games too seriously...the story hasn't really been a big focal point since Combat Evolved, so it really doesn't matter much what diretion they go with.

You do realize that Bungie is finished with Halo once Reach comes out right? 343 will take over from there, but I'll be following Bungie more closely than 343.

Halo has been doing well, and really, there have only been three main games, four if you count Reach. Halo Wars was by a different development team making a different game under the Halo brand. ODST was just a sidestory. They really don't count. It's the trilogy and Reach. From there it depends on the quality of the games 343 puts out, but I'm more interested in seeing in what new stuff Bungie can do. They haven't disappointed me with their Halo games so I hope they can continue the trend with new IPs since I'd love to support them even further.

As long as the games are quality, I dont care what they do to progress the story. Its not that interesting.

But if you *do* care about it, I could see how it'd be frustrating. There was Halo 1. There was Halo 2. There was Halo 3. And then THREE off-shoot games. Its a pretty big break in the pacing of proper-Halo releases, ya know?

I agree they should really stop the halo series where it was left, i mean it's becoming generic i didn't even like any of the HALO games after HALO 3 and that's because is more of the same and it will be more of the same,BUNGIE should start a new different project even something that isn't a FPS, because they could make it the same way and I'd rather something new and fresh instead of HALO REACH(and more to come BABY HALO, HALO GOLF, and so on)

Who really cares about stories??? The only game that I ever played that I think has a good story is Final Fantasy Tactics, that is my whole list. I want a new Halo game as soon as I can possibly get it. Halo is great, the more the merrier. I miss the days in gaming when stories didn't exsist and games didn't need them and they only get in the way. Honestly I think games with no stories are just fine, as long as they have good gameplay.

I actually agree, I mean they should do something after Halo 3 it would give them opportunity for wicked new weapons and vehicles and armor instead of saying what used to be there that was really awesome but it's not there anymore. And I'm huge on storyline in games especially Halo so I agree.
