Ok, I have had my Xbox 360 for about a year and a half or so, and up untill recently, it has worked just fine. Just a couple weeks ago, I bought Assassin's Creed. It ran smoothly for about 2-3 hours and then it said "Disk is unreadable." But, I just popped it back in and tryed again. After about 15 minutes, it said it again. So, I decided to see if I could tell why it said this. I started playing, and I noticed that everytime I got near a "viewpoint" in any main city, it said the disk was unreadable. I tested this a few more times, and everytime, the messege popped up. Therefor, figuring it was just the disk, I bought a new Assassin's Creed (even from a different store!) and it worked for about an hour or two and then the message popped up when I tryed to get a "viewpoint." I don't know if it is just my Xbox 360 that needs to be repaired, if there is a setting I can turn off, or if I just need to get an update off of Xbox Live. Any response would be helpful.
idk but this sorta happend with my friends 360 whenever he was playing oblivion for too long, i think its just ur xbox 360 heating up cuz his said the same thing so he bought an intercooler and it runs fine now, idk if the same will go for you but its worth a try
It could be a number of things. The disk could be defective, your 360 might be failing on you, or it could be over heating. Thats all I can think of hope it helps..
