When I turn my Xbox 360 on it freezes then tells an error, how can I fix this? Should I send it in to Microsoft (no warranty) and just pay the fee to get it fixed?

One of my friends had the same problem and success with an intercooler. It's about 15$ on Amazon. Good Luck!

Just remember that the inter cooler has caused more problems then is has solved.  But if your 360 is totally shot then its worth a try.

I had the same thing happen to 2 systems now, it says it is unable to read discs, i also had the 3 red light on 2 other systems. These were brand new games this was saying it on. I was about to go onto system #5 and that was enough for me. Just make sure you don't put out $130 and it happens again?

What if I'm buying this system off of a person for almost free, because they said this. I don't know how long they've had it

The warranty was extended to a year, and if they can't fix it, they have no choice but to get you a new one! I just sent mine in (it was freezing, scratching discs, and it couldn't read 360 games) and it was a pretty painless process. Hopefully it will go as well on the return.

For me instead of attaching the intercooler which ruins the system, i just set up a couple high power fans to blow cold air over the fan area and it works really well
