Eternal Sonata Demo/rating

the demo was good adn I understand if this is old. HOw did everyone love the demo. I loved it exceote there was no story.

4/5 is my prediction and a 9.0 from gamespot I predict.

Sadly, it finished downloading just as i was leaving for work so i won't be able to play it 'til later :( I've heard good things tho...how long was it?

I must have already played this demo on an OXM disk or something because to me this is older news. I didn't like it all though. For anybody that cares Beautiful Katamari demo was pretty fun though.wmc540

Is the Katamari demo on the OXM disc or Live Marketplace. I want that game too(stressed with all the games coming out:( ).

Just got home, finally played it and....WOW. Best battle system in a jRPG EVER. Also, LOVE the visual style...this totally owns Blue Dragon in that department IMO. The only thing i found strange is how zoomed-out the camera is when outside of combat...no big deal tho.

5/5 and i'll DEFINITELY be picking this up on release day.

P.S. any1 else feel kind of strange about having so many good jRPGs to look forward to?

I mean...this is a Microsoftsystem isn't it? :P

i was really impressed with the battle system but also very impressed with graphics i dint think they would be this good.

This would be really cool...except everywhere I look had it listed for 60 dollars.

Still, I thought the demo was great (played it a couple months ago) and after the mediocre Blue Dragon demo I'm definitely looking forward to Eternal Sonata more.

I liked it a lot. The game has great art style and music. The battle system is cool. Overall, I liked it a lot better than Blue Dragon.

Was it the same as the OXM demo? Or is it a completly different demo?

If it's the same as the OXM demo then I give it a 3/5.

See, I really liked the Blue Dragon demo. Seemed like it would be a great game. However, I realize that demos are made to show you the best parts of games to make you want to buy them. I'm waiting for reviews on Blue Dragon and Eternal Sonata before I make the choice between them (if I have to).

Nothing is wrong with BD. Unlike ES, there just was not anythig that stood out about the BD to me whitch is a disappointment since it is supposed to be Microsoft's big JRPG. The characters, the battle system, the art style, and the setting felt like million other JPRGs outwhere. I think, it BD will be solid JRPG but nothig special.
