This except add in cons "gets old after a few good sessions"Pros: Awesome battle system, great visuals, cool characters, decent story
Cons: Story is still a little meh, too linear, a tad short
Still a wonderful game though. One of my favs on the 360.

I would have written that if I thought it was true. I love the game and have replayed it once already.

what do u mean by linear?I hated Eternal Sonata. The thing most people say is good about ES is the battle system. Problem is fighting is the ONLY thing you do in this game so that one good element becomes boring very fast. You just fight your way from point A to point B, then you fight your way to point C. There's very little questing, side quests or NPC interaction. You know, the things that make an RPG good. You just start at point A, fight 1000 fights, reach point B, watch a boring cut scene, fight 1000 fights, reach point C, rinse and repeat. Terrible game.x-2tha-zCuz no other games are like that, right? Especially not FPSs... nope... no way.

I thought we were talking about Eternal Sonata? Is this really a topic about shooters?

COMPLETELY AGREE, game is well worth playing and 1 of the best JRPG for the xbox360 just wish it wasn't so linear, great game to kick back and "420" as playing
what do u mean by linear?pocoyo29
Linear as in there's no real freedom to explore areas. Every area is just one path with a few detours that only lead to an item or dead end. It's really a shame it's so linear because the setting is just gorgeous, so you kind of want to witness the whole world.
This game was a little dissapointing IMO.
pros
Battle system is good
The music (if you like classical and chopin) is amazing!
cons
story is very slow and boring
cut scenese are very very very slow and boring.
its a bog standard JRPG which plods along too slowly for my liking. I have no problem with slow paced games as shenmue 1 and 2 are amongnst my fave games EVER but this game is slow for the sake of being slow and the cut scenes really start to annoy after a while.
