Eternal Sonata questions

i bought the last copy of Eternal Sonata in our province moments ago... out of curiousity... the store owner told me high school students just pass in and out of the store and bought the game without a word... just grabbed it like it was really valuable.. this must be good i say...

i'm having problems blocking the attacks of the sewer rats.. there's a button for block but nothings happens..

1. how do i block attacks?

2. for what is a peach cookie?

3. for what is a flower powder?

4. the small child with the special of taking pictures of the rats, do i inflict damage by taking pictures of the sewer rat?

5. do i get to change armors and weapons in this game?

Its all explained ingame turorials. And instruction book

Block is you hit O just before you are hit (a wee noise happens when your supposed to do it) It reduced the damage you take - not stops it

cookie and peach restore health if i recall

photos dont do damage but do earn you money if you sell them at shops - quite a lot actually

5) change equipment as you do in every game. go to inventory screen. select you character then their equipment - select equipment theyre wearing and youll have the option to change (if they have more to wear)

Its a really fun rpg with a great story and soundtrack, also has fun combat.

To block just keep practising and you will master it, its really just about timing.

Hello everyone... yehey i finally got it.... thanks so much... yes you were right, it doesn't block just reduces the damage... and thank you also about the changing of armors and the photos... ^___^ oh men so lucky i did start shooting photos, i never knew they can be sold for golds.

about what the store owner said that alot of high school students bought Eternal Sonata, i now understand why... they probably were art students or Anime fans, or music students... men after 4 hours of playing, i fell in love... very artistic... very romantic... masterpiece!

How do i put heal items on my X button?

when i started playing the game, the X button was heal but now it says "empty"

In the in-game menu, there is a tab for Items and 'Item Set' the items in the item set are the ones you use during battles. The amount you can put is limited though, but as you gain party levels the limit also increases. Dont forget to assign items before aggroing mobs if ever you use during battles...I seldom use them though.

The amount you can put is limited though, but as you gain party levels the limit also increases. Dont forget to assign items before aggroing mobs if ever you use during battles...I seldom use them though.

Hello :) the item set was useful in a battle a while ago, the really big guard killed my strongest character and i have an angel's trumpet on 1 of the 10 item sets, my strongest character was revived and she took down the big guy ^_^
