I bought manhunt 1 when it first came out, and was completely put off by it. Then I was craving a stealth oriented game a year later after mgs3 wore off, and bought it used for 25$. again, got sick of it. One day a year or so after that, I saw it for 5$. Bought it again. finally beat it and traded it in. same with state of emergency, except that game just sucked and then I wanted something button mashey a year later.
i find myself buying old pc games that used to love pretty frequently
also im rebuying cod4 pretty soon cause my brother broke the disc awhile ago and ive felt like playin it
in the past i rebought ps2 games all the time and i remember rebuying fable and halo 2 for the orginal xbox when i lost fable and halo messed up
I dont really recall rebuying anything before that? must have tooken care of my games much better in the past generations or the games were made more to take a beating
I think i did this with 3 games first one was Fable, not sure why i bought it again never play it. The other two were Splinter Cell 1 and 2 didn't like em at first but fell in love with the series when i gave em a shot again.
Not really though I may rebuy Oblivion.RecontrooperI would do it for like 30-40 you can get game of the year that includes some DLC ( knights of nine and a couple other ones. Knights of nine is a PAIN IN THE A$$ just so ya kno)
The only game i sold and bought it again was pgr 4 because the copy i had got sratched by my machine
I trade in and rebuy games all the time.I see alot of people complaining that Gamestop gives you crap for your games but if you wait until they have special deals like trade in 5 games get an extra 40% trade in and then you have your edge card that's another 10% and then you wait for their awesome buy 2 used games get 1... it's a really great deal.
I've traded in lots of games and gotten a decent amount and then a few months later the game drops in price and i get it again for less than what i got for it. Mass Effect was my most recent re-buy.
i got gears 1 and 2 atleast twice cod4 i re got like 4 times street fighter 4 was the last one i regot
Yup i bought this one game for one system and the system broke but i really wanted to play this game so i went out and bought it for another system
Oblivion, bought it, sold it, bought it, then sold it, then a couple of months back i bought the GOTY edition lol, an i don't have any genuine reasons for sellin it either
Once. I used to own an N64 copy of Mario Kart 64. Then I bought it on Virtual Console because I missed it so.
Hey, I was just wondering if you fellow gamers have ever bought a game beaten it and traded it in then later wanted to buy it again for DLC or any other reason. Ive had to buy halo 3 twice because i let my friend borrow it and he broke it and he has yet to pay me back ( angry face! ) And im kind of thinking of buying fallout 3 again to replay it then buy all the dlc, So i was just wondering if anyone else has done the same.johnnydiamond08In the ps2 the Special Edition of Devil May Cry 3 and in the 360, Just Cause.
I bought Oblivion for the 360 when I got one when I already had it for PC.I lent it to a friend and by the time I got it back, it wouldn't work.
Other than that,I've bought a few gamesthatI beat on my friend's 360more than a yearbefore Ibought one (Halo 3, Crackdown, and Assassin's Creed, so far). I'll probably pick up Army of Two and theMarvel: Ultimate Alliance/Forza 2 bundle againto play with one of my new roommates when we move into our new place. I still don't know why he bought them, considering he barely touched AC, Ao2, and never even played M:UA or F2.
Only once.
I pre-ordered and then played Ninja Gaiden for months until I beat it on Master Ninja. The thumb on my right hand hurt when I was finished. So I sold it.
I ended up buying it again about a year later for $5.
Only once, and I kind of had a valid reason. Last summer my Xbox 360 got the RROD, and I was about 70+ hours in to "The Elder Scrolls IV : Oblivion". I waited about two weeks for Microsoft to send me the box and it never came, so I called them again and had them re-send the box. At that point I was dying to play Oblivion and didn't mind having to start over, as I've done it many times before and since. So I traded in my regular copy of Oblivion for the 360 which they gave me $45.00 for at the time, and I bought a new copy for the PS3 for $59.99. I should mention that I already had the collector's edition for the 360 as well (due to my slight case of OCD), so it was no big loss. But this is the only time I'd ever trade in a game as the money/credit you get back is a rip-off, also I love collecting games, and love going back and playing my old games over and over, so I have no reason to trade anything in.
they really know how to rip you off, i gave them over 20 games (xbox originals back in '06) and didnt even get 200 bucks! i originally paid 60 for weach, i cant stand it, even with the card it still is a bad deal lol.I trade in and rebuy games all the time.I see alot of people complaining that Gamestop gives you crap for your games but if you wait until they have special deals like trade in 5 games get an extra 40% trade in and then you have your edge card that's another 10% and then you wait for their awesome buy 2 used games get 1... it's a really great deal.
