Nobody is being forced to buy the elite. Its only for those who want it, nobody is forcing you to buy it! Its just giving those who havent made up their mind yet a little something else to think about. Nobody is forcing you to buy it! You won't be hurt in any way shape or form if you chose not to get it. Nobody is forcing you to buy it! Since when do people complain about having more options to chose from that better accomodate their personal needs? Nobody is forcing you to buy it! no one ever said they where getting forced to buy something all there saying is its ridiculous that they come out the an upgraded version a year and a half later, it woulda been coll if it came out around the holidays and such making cool gifts but insted the release it in the middle of spring WTF?
There were better lasers they were alot quiter so there were internal changes and hdmi is not that big a deal , hd for some sure but still ms is not forcing people to by it.

i suppose so but what it really comes down to is there bad decision of when to release it. everyone knows its better for the price, but microsoft screwed them by making them pay $400 for a system and not telling them it would be obsolete in a year.
I don't really see it obsolete because of the elite , maybe people do but i think that is a little premature. I can understand people being pissed about it i guess but that is technology for you. Hdmi was not that big a deal back when the 360 was out it was dvi that was bigger from memory.
i personally don't care for hdmi but for toughs people who have multi thousand dollar tvs and thought they where getting the best out of there 360 then find out there's a better one they just need to spend another $480 to get it im sure people get pissed....
