I just found out that the game used to be on the Major Nelson's Top 10 Xbox Live activity list! The game really is worth w/e it costs now ($20 or so?). I have both COD4 and Bad Company, and COD4 is nice too look at, but Bad Company has just a lot more deep gameplay online. If you don't have it, you need to try it. Anyone else play it online? It still has a very large online community even now.

I'll 2nd that-I've played the demo previously and just re-downloaded it to my new Elite+gonna have a go on it 2nite.I will most likely get the full game off ebay
I have had it since September and I love the online (better than COD4 in my opinion). I reached rank 25 about a month ago but I haven't played on it since then. Still need 50 dog tags, a LOT more of the awards (I don't even have half yet) and 10002 kills (that's worse than Seriously... on GOW).
i picked it up at Game about 3 weeks ago for £20, but havent got round to playing it yet... working my way through other games with very limited time what with work and social life getting in the way.
I have only heard good things though, so im really looking forward to playing it!
It's definitely a great game on live. There's a bit of a learning curve as you learn to adapt your classes to support your squad, but other than that anyone can pop it in and have a great time playing gold rush.
Good to hear plenty of people are still playing it. I got it a short while ago and just looking to get started in multiplayer. For anyone that has played BF2 or BF2142 on PC, how similar is BF BC?
Its a fun game and fans of COD4 should at least giv it a shot. it provides a more un-realistic but still fun version of COD4. Its quirky, got sum good humour and provides a challenge at points as well as tryin to find the guns within the levels for use in multiplayer. Its somethin different which means it can also be fun. So giv it a shot, if u dun lyk it at least u gav it a try and ur not a worse a person for it :)
For sure. It's quite often over looked. Playing it Sunday for the first time in over 8 months was a blast. I'm looking forward for Battlefield: BC 2 and Battlefield 1943 this year.
I had BF:BC, but I just couldn't get into it.I played through the single player twice-for the fun and the acheivements, and playedMP. Playing through the single player twice was enough for me, and I couldn't get into the online at all. BC has all the elements there to make a great MP experience, but it just didn't "flow" for me.
Are people already CRAZY good at the game like COD4!?! You know like if you blink by the time you eyes look back at the TV you are dead....twice? Are there any "nube" weapons like the nube tube in COD4?!?!

As for if people are good? yeh by now im sure most people would be but you'll pick it up how the game play flows.
Its a good game, especially blowing up all the buildings people hide in, in Multiplayer.ryancamcam

I picked it up not too long ago. I found getting into the multiplayer somewhat frustrating since I apparently suck. I have also seen some really stupid stuff, like people knifing someone on their own team so they can use the mortar or something of the sort. It can be pretty fun though.

It's a great game, the matchmaking really works and you'll almost everytime find a full game. Just wish my buds played it with me :D And nothing is more satisfying that spotting a sniper and taking him out before he knows what hit him :D
the nice thing about matchmaking for bad company and cod4 is that people can get matched into an already started game. so if someone drops for w/e reason, the next person who wants to play and join the game. games like halo 3 and gow have annoying droppers because they don't have this system. and yes, i've never played a game that wasn't full. if someone dropped, someone else joined. it's the system that pc shooters have used for years
i can't think of another game on the xbox that has sniping nearly as fun as it is in bad company. the only other game with such awesome sniping is battlefield 2, which is where bad company came from. it's prob mostly due to the massive maps
