Why is that. I need to get an update for all my games in order to play them everytime, it's getting annoying.

Havent heard that one before. Usually after you update it once thats all it needs unless they add another update later down the road.

I'll play Gears, it updates, then I want to play Oblivion it updates. I want to go to another update required game, it says requires update. It also does this to my friend.

Mine only updated once.. You me to tell me that you put the game in, it updates then you take the game out and put it back in and it makes you update again?? Either you have a long nose or your Hard drive is broken?

Stick a game that you have already had an update done. You should be fine. Its just have tweaked some of the games and updates are needed to download once b/f continuing.

Same thing happened to me a while back. try deleting the cache memory, that should fix it. Go to the HDD icon thingy and press Y, then Press XX, LB, RB, XX. then confirm it and it should not make you update everytime you play the same game that you already updated.

I heard that the xbox can hold only some of the updates that downloads. So if you play 30 different games you have to downloads the updates even if you have downloaded them another time before.
