My launch 360 is starting to fail now (power button doesn't register presses, disc tray doesn't open all the time, etc.) and I would like a newer one with HDMI and better processor. I got my console from Costco before they changed their return policy, so what do I need to take it back? I have lost one of the controllers and the battery charger and sold one of the bundled games. Will they still take it? Anyone who has some costco returning experience help me.

Probably not, they would ask for all the parts to it. If it comes down to it just go out and pick up an arcade for $200 if you have the extra cash and use your current HDD.

Dont think they might care much if u dont have the bundle game. But u might need all the stuff like the same exact controller and the rest of the stuff that came in the box. Did u buy it new.

or you could take it into gamestop and get some trade in value for a new 60gb.

didn't you even once think about contacting Microsoft customer support?

If your xbox is still under warranty you can get it repaired for free, if not, you'd probably only have to pay a smaller-than-a-new-xbox fee to get it repaired or replaced.

Hmm, yeah I don't want to deal with MS tech support. I might trade my old one in and use the money to get a new xbox. I will try and find a used controller and take it back, after all I do spend a lot of money at costco and I know from working in retail that employees don't want to deal with upset customers. How much money will gamestop give me for a used 360? It is still working good just some buttons aren't responsive.
