I am, im not a huge fan of RTSs but A. This is Halo, B. You can play online and C.I enjoy playing some RTS' every once in a while so u kno why not? Who else is excited for it? Also it is rumored to be out around the same time as Halo 3 correct?
Maybe....im not sure. When they first announced the coming of the halo movie, i was kinda like omg, now we will have a bunch of ignorant fan boys running around. This game i kinda feel the same, cause you will have people talking a lot of crap thinking there the sh** and they dont even know the story line or halo or even played the original. Its kinda annoying actually. I just hope that the game will be able to meet the HALO expectations, if not, its gonna be a big hurt to the halo name.Â

to be honest i never had an xbox i got into halo jhust recently but i started with halo 1 not halo 2. i quickly became a huge fan and i even got the books thats how into halo i have gotten
i'm not expecting it to be AAA, becuase rts games work best with a mouse and keyboard, but assuming it gets above a 7, i'll probably get it, even if just for the story. looks promising enough though. who knows, maybe it'll be one of the best 360 games. =P

ummm...im not too sure about that one. I doubt microsoft would really wanna expand the Halo series beyond XBOX itself. I dont like playing PC games except for D2:expan and Starcraft, just because the mods for the game make it rediculous. If say they will strictly keep a for the xbox.

do you think that this will be able to stand on its on as a great rts even if it didnt have the halo license, i kno we have seen no gameplay anything watsoever but what r ur predictions, i say yes it can stand on its own cause its by the makers of age of empires
i mean the lord of the rings rts work dam well on the 360 imo, and theres also C&C coming to 360 which is also a rts and halo wars, if ppl say if should not come to the 360 please remove your head from your own A$$, give the game a chance befor u say yes/no

Agreed, I think MS would shift a crap lot more of em, if they sold it with a moiuse and keyboard adapter for the 360 ^-^ hell I'd buy it straight away!
I hope ensemble is putting some pressure on themselves to creating the best console RTS to date. I think any less than that would already put a stain on the halo name. I also hope they concentrate on making the gameplay good, and not try to fit all too much in the pc RTS prototype. Let's just say I don't hope theyll try to make it a C&C, but just do their own thing.
Oh, and I hope bungie can force their matchmaking to ensemble.
