I don't generally work on hunches myself, but this one, to me, is probably 90% likely. If it was coming out this fall, I have a feeling we'd be seeing a lot more on it than we are currently. Plus the game looked rather early when they showed it off a couple months ago, and Peter Molyneux is certainly one to take his time to continually take out promised features that were unnecessary/stupid in the first place. Here's hoping they take out the dog. I don't like dogs in real life, why would I want one in a game? That's not to say I'm not interested in Fable 2, and I will certainly play it, but Fable 1 was just a huge dissappointment. It was good for what it was, anaction games with a small RPG element (at least compare to other games), but the story was bad, it was too short, and all of these promised features that were supposed to make the world so alive never made it.

More than 2. Mass Effect is destined to be great, I have a feeling. Too bad it is coming out in Septemeber and will get completely destroyed by Halo 3, but at least it will be out. Plus Lost Odyssey will be fairly big, I have a feeling, and that should make it out around December.

actually no it is confirmed for 08 and has been for awhile. Afew months ago that spike tv show Gamehead did a thing on fable's creator, u know that whacky english dude, and he said it was coming in 08.

Yeah, I guess. Hope is good. I'm not too bothered, really. I'll be busy with Assasin's Creed, Bioshock, GTA, etc. to really mind. Plus, I loved Super Smash Bros. Melee and played it endlessly, so, even if i hate all other games, Super Smash Bros. Brawl should keep me highly entertained.

Yeah, definitley. At least we can be assured that will come out this year (crosses fingers for Nintendo to actually include a decent online portion with it).

ill get fable 2, but i was disappointed at how short fable 1 was

honestly, fable 1 wasnt a memorable game to me at all. it was a lot of fun to play, but it was over WAY too fast

i still love the fable music though

too much comp in 2007....thats y microsoft is releasing Halo in Sept to avoid major comp from Oct-Dec....so i dont see microsoft releasing fable 2 with all the comp they will play it safe & have a March 2008 release or late 2008 & besides they have Mass Effect for its Major RPG of the year =/

Fable 2 is releasing on October 27th in Europe, which means NTSC, which hopefully means cross-country shipments, which hopefully means i can get it this year.makaelthosolcry

You're right. It is a 2008 title as of now. That's what most sites list. Here's GameFaq's link (Game Spot sister site) - but most say TBA 2008.
