I just got fable 2 and i have a question. should you concentrate on maybe only a couple of will sets like blades and inferno? Or should you just try to get every single spell? I have never played the first fable so i don't really know what the best way is to build a character.
anyone know? or does anyone know where i can find the info?SonofDavid
you probably won't find alot of information on it considering the game just came out unless you have the strategy guide, but I would suggest going with the most useful in the beggining or the ones you like the most (thats what I'm doing)
Hey guys, found a glitch in the game already lol. This helps you max out all your stats (infinite general xp) First, go to oakfield and buy the house next to the woodcutter sign (there are two of them, but buy the one that is under 5000gold) then sleep for 24 hours. You will get a star for speed. then go to your speed skill and undo the star. repeat once more. This time, the star will not leave, but it will give you the experience back. just keep returning the star and watch your xp build lol. as you build xp, make sure you max out your speed when you can and return it so you can get more xp back. when you get like 8-9mil xp, you can max out everything!!!
PS: if you accepted the patch already, you may have to clear your memory cache before it works!!
From the experience I have, pick one and stick with it. You'll eventually be able to switch skills if you please later (you'll end up with a ton of exp).
This is what ive done and my character is unstoppable, literrally plowing through bosses no potions used. ( i Just saved the hero of will at the spire which im guessing is about half way through the game). First,I put 2 stars Only into brutal styles so i can break through blocking enemies, then (as of right now) 3 in physique and toughness. Next, Skill, i put one into dexterous styles (this is essential for Will players, it allows you to roll around amongst enemies without getting hurt + creating distance for casting time on spells.), None into accuracy and three into speed. **So at this point i have an extremly strong player w/ immense attack speed and agility and ive barely spent any experience. Finally my character is predominatly WILL. What i have here is Five Stars into force push, 3 Into time control and 3 into blades (though i barely use it). This being so here is how i set up my spell bar/ fight enemies. My spell bar: level 1 Time control. this serves for two purposes. If ambushed by many enemies i simply hit B to Slow time (not that effective at level one but gives u time to react. Reason 2 If you aim level 1 time control and use it, it rushes behind the enemy in a short teleport increasing your agility even further.next i have force push on level 2, i use this the least but it can be accompanied by the level 1 time stop on an ambush to Press enemies back for further casting time. But MOSTLY when i encounter enemies I use Time control Level 3 Which IMMENSLY slows down the enemies around you, Then roll away from the enemies And start Charging force push Four or FIVe the final two slots on your spell bar. level 5 (at this point in the game destroys anything in one shot and if it doesnt, i teleport using level 1 time stop and finish them off before they stand up. This is my take on Fable II so far and ive been blowing through the game using this set up. I just beat i guess you could say the First Main Boss in the Storyline without him or his minions hitting me a single time. Not to mention doin these combinations Makes the camera Go Slow-Mo and Does a bunch of Cinematic Deaths on enemies, which makes it all the more cool. there are only 2 logical spells and they are shock and raise dead in ferno is a crappy shock. chaos rarly works vortect is useless about 1/2 of the way through the game get lvl 2 time control
