So I'm playing Fable 2 for the first time yesterday and I throw on my head set to send a voice message to a friend.
The game had my full attention so naturally I forgot to take the headset off. So I'm wandering around Albion and all of sudden I hear someone talking. Like...in my headset.
I was also kinda faded so it really took me by surprise. I knew that you could see orbs of players on-line as they play in their own world but I didn't realize that you could talk to someone just by standing close to them.
The 'everyone' option was also selected so I was hearing lots, and lots of voices. So after playing for awhile, this game really started to feel like a mmorpg (which I've always wanted for the 360) from all the on-line players traveling around in my world. And having the ability to communicate with them just by being near them.
Did this feature take anyone else by surprise? And how do you feel about it? I usually leave the 'everyone' option on unless I'm really trying to complete a mission and the voices become too distracting.
