Will it be in most stores for the release. Many stores wont sell it anymore since the change in its contents. Ive ordered it from WHSmith but they havent cashed my money yet and have emailed me to say they dont have it yet. Is anybody else having issues with the limited collectors edition? WHSmith have 2-3 days delivery so if they dont get it like tomorow I wont have it for the release.
Are you sure? Why arent most shops saying out of stock rather than not a price at all and no option to buy or an out of stock sign. For example whenever play.com is letting you order a game before its release and they sell out of copies to send for the release it says out of stock, they dont remove the price of the item and not say out of stock. With fable 2 collectors edition they have. The only explanation that supports your statement and the fact play.com wont sell is possibly that all stores are given a 'limited' amount to sell and they have met their maximum now and WHSmith being unpopular for games still has some to order. Do you think thats it ? and that WHSmith were just saying that its not available to remind me its not out yet ? If you think so then please say, if this theory is confirmed my mind can be at rest and it wont stress me out for the rest of the week.

Hmm. Well if the reason that most shops arent selling it is because they have exceeded their limited amount of limited collectors edition copies then I might be ok. However I just read through my WHSmith email again and it said they couldnt confirm my item for me. Basically they couldnt get me a copy, possibly cus they are sold out atm. In which case how much was it on amazon and how many days postage was it to get to me in the uk ?

Well at least you have a 360 to play it on I got RROD 8 days before release and I have had the game pre ordered since June.
Well I preordered several weeks ago with GameStop and I'm in the US and they said it would ship today. But I'm a little nervous since my order status online still says "Backordered" and I have no assigned tracking number to indicate that it has been shipped yet.
Gamespot told me that the "Backorder" status is there merely for them not to take any new orders. Oh I reserved the LE one. So I truely don't know if I'm getting it tomorrow which sucks since I took Wednesday as a personal day which I requested a week ago.

All of the pre-orders that were taken for the LE at GameStop will come in; that's how they get numbers, for the most part, on how many to ship to each store, or to their warehouse for shipping online orders. I'd be very surprised if you don't get it. From what I understand on some copies not having the stickers, it's affecting a small percentage of LE copies being sent out, but it's still a pain if you end up with a LE and no sticker.
I ordered the LE from GAME. Mines got shipped today, i know shops have been having problems with the Limited Edition and a lot aren't stocking it anymore, as some people have said. Your best bet is to cancel your order and go into your local Game on Friday, and hope they've got it in stock
I have a local gamestation and Insane Games but no GAME. According to gamestations website they dont sell it. Because I dont live in the town near me I cant go in and pre order until friday(the day its released here) and my dad wont let me go early so I cant gauruntee a copy. If I cancel my order and go there and they dont have a copy for me ill be back of the que for my one in WHSmith and be without a copy for longer. Im kinda stuck now.
i went to walmart this morning on my way to work since best buy wasnt open yet. walmart didnt have it so i waited for best buy to open and they had it fo sho.
Just picked up my LE copy. Amazing game so far, very epic and being able to see where anyone is playing and also being able to chat with them if you are close enough to their orb really innovates the RPG genre. It makes playing single player RPG's more "lively" than ever before. And you ccan see anyone, or just people on your friends list if you choose.
Did anyone figure out how to get the master chief outfit and sword yet if you got the LE? I even missed getting the bonus treasure in the beginning of the game because i didnt put in the LE code before i started playing :(
Thanks for all your advice and support guys I hope you enjoy your games on the release. I will just have to wait, its all I can do. So in a few weeks or hopefully sooner ill be joining you in the world of Albion. Its just anoying, all my friends will be playing it. And at my school we have the release date off school and then the weekend and then 1 week holiday. I bet it will come at the end of the holiday when I have my GCSE Mocks.
