You mean flop in Gamespot or flop in sales? I don't care if it flops in GS but it would be a shame if it flops in sales, it sounds like the devs have put a lot of effort into it.

Fable 1 was great, it had it's flaws but it definnitely didn't flop.
There was much more that could've been done with fable 1, and it looks like everything it needed is going to be in fable 2.
Really depends... I think for the first few weeks it'll sell purely because of hype, but if it's not a good game then that will stop and it will officially "flop" in sales. I haven't really kept up with anything related to Fable 2 so maybe someone can share some opinions with me here...
I started playing Fable The Lost Chapters yesterday (xbox original game). I had it sitting around unopened for a while so I decided to see what it was like. It looked ok, but it looked like one of those games that takes up too much time out of your life and like it wouldn't necessarily be entertaining after a while. Is there some big difference from the first Fable to the second one that makes the second one better in some way?
If it flops... man... What a terrible idea. I would cry all day and night for the rest of my life. Or I just wouldn't buy it and wait for Fall out 3. But if that flops too... Man, I would have nothing to look forward to in my whole life :'). Well, I'm not that addicted, but I really would be angry on the producers of the games.
At this point, i really won't be sad because I won't be able a great game, but I will feel sad for PM, because he put so much effort into this game, and **** will talk more **** to him.
Fable 1 did flop. You would know this if you followed it back when it was called Project Ego. They made a ton of promises and didn't deliver on them. It was a good game though and I did enjoy it but it was also probably the biggest disappointment out of any game that I have followed and played.
I don't think its going to live up to expectations for a lot of people. Such as myself. It just doesn't look as good as it could of been. I still feel like its really linear when it comes to the envirenments. its just like strictly one path and then breaks into 2 paths and thats your options. Its pretty lame.
Doesn't mean its going to be a bad game. I just think some people will be disapointed.
Luckily, I don't hype games up in my head as the bestest things ever, so I'm usually pretty satisfied, so it won't flop for me, and that's all that matters to me.

Fable didn't flop it sold great as well as made room a fanbase for the sequel, it was a fun and original game for the genre. Of course they didn't deliver everything as promised but it didn't flop.
the title of this thread pissed me off till I read what it was about, ya I would be mad. I dont expect the best game ever like some people just more of what made fable good!

Clearly that meens it only flopped for those who either knew or cared about those additions, and also didnt enjoy the final outcome either way. The game was awesome, and the fact that it was short was nice, made it easier to make multiple characters and have fun.
I would take a sledgehammer and smash up my 360, then id march to lionhead and scream at Mr. Molyneux himself about how he should stop developing games because he is horrible and gets peoples hopes up. Then id go buy a new 360 and wait patiently for Gears of War 2.
I don't think it will flop. As long as it lives up to more hype than the first one did it won't flop. Don't get me wrong the first one was great and all, but it did flop, on all of the promises it made. The second one does have some big shoes to fill. Whether they do it or not is still yet to be shown.
dont read the gamespot reviews it so stupid youll be laughing after wards they got those dumb as new reviewers who seems to think they can make a better game
lol, it will surely have alot of haters, but sales shld be really good. look at all the good games now, most have their own share of haters lol. Assasin's creed, GTA4, Halo3 etc etc.
The more hype it gets, the more haters it will get.
