fable 2 help with saving

help! i just got an xbox 360 and one of the games i got was fable 2. i want to save, but when i click "save and quit" or "save and continue", it wont do anything!

also, if you dont know, i have heard that at key moments the game with auto save. u can tell me these too.

help i dont want to lose my progress :cry:

Don't panic, the game autosaves after any quest is completed or big cutscene. As for saving, save and quit should save as long as you don't turn off your console. How far into the game are you? As it should autosave a fair bit at the start.

im not sure how far into the game i am bcuz while ive been on gamespot my brother has been playing. all i know is that i bought the music thingy, my sister was killed and i almost was, i got some kind of will power, and all of the sudden im in the village talking with people.

what happens is when i try to save, the game does nothing. shouldn't i see some kind of message that says "your game was saved"? cuz that aint happening.

The game should have autosaved as soon as you gained control of your character in the gypsy camp. When you select "Save and Quit" it will say a message will appear on screen saying "Saving your progress. Do not turn of your Xbox 360 console" (or something along those lines) and the game will take you back to the main menu, and your progress will be saved, It is a little annoying at first as the game doesn't actually tell you if the save was successful. I don't have the game at the moment so I can't check for you.

ah, i know what i did wrong. the game alows me to save now. i got pissed off and i turned the power off after i heard that my brother had killed 8 people with a shotgun, and i figured it out after i made a new file. thanks for the help anyway, but i have one more question. can you have multiple files in the game so my brother wont go about murdering people in my game?:roll:

Sure, just start a new game and it will automatically save into another save slot. You can have up to 5 different saves.
