Fable 2 Impressions.

Everyone that longs for this game has probably seen the gdc footage.

But what are your thoughts on the co-op, combat, and that weird arcade money thing?

Personally, I wasn't impressed by the combat, looks about the same, not the best animations but since it's an rpg I guess it's decent. The graphics looked quite stunning, and that "careful about who u invite to ur world" thing with the spouse shooting was excellent, lol. As for the money arcade mini-game I'm not sure what to think, guess I know too little about the game for now to actually know.

In the stage demo Molyneux said he was gonna make it harder to be good though. Wonder what that will mean, like; "If u don't murder this entire village, your family will die" He said there would be choices that'd make you really stop and think.Keitarourashima

Go to gametrailers and watch the three part walkthrough...its a tad longer then the video they have here on gamespot. In the video he does infact jump over the fence you are talking about. He also goes into the house and talks more about the game in general.

i say the co-op mechanics were awsome , cause it whould be hard if we had to bulid our own your togther and only be able to access it when another player is around

this co-op lets the other player come into my world and just help me out ( or kill my family ) and then take his share of experience an money and get back to his world

I think the co-op is what is going to make it an even better game. You can invite a friend or spouse to play Fable 2 with you. Finally, a great co-op game you can play without it being a FPS. I think that is an awesome feature.

The way you earn money is different from other RPG games. Which seems like a nice change of pace. I'll credit them for trying something new from the normal way of making money. The arcade mini game is optional, so I can't really comment on that a lot. I mean if you don't want it, you don't have to have it.

As far as presentation wise, the graphics were gorgeous. I was already looking forward to this game since it was announced but now I'm as excited for this game as I am about MGS4. I can't wait for this game to come out.

Well you can be a loyal 360 owner and own more than one console. I have a wii and an xbox 360 both are extremly great can't wait for SSBB and GTA4.

Uh i played through fable like 4 times i completely loved it. Only thing i hated was when you complete the main quest the game's over pretty much. Nothing else to do which sucks you should get more side quests or something.

For the other thing you can't really compare the two. Although there's better games on the 360 the wii's a whole lot of fun and in my opinion has better multiplayer(not online friends actually there). With SSBB coming out i'm not gonna have much time for it. Also with the wii there's nothing better than playing for like 4 hours straight and seeing which friends are in the worst shape lol.

yea the second you finsh it its done , but its really long if you take your time with it and you dont just play the main guests and use walkthroughs , and fable2 is gonna have a 10 times bigger world , and npcs will have over 160,000 conversations , so im guessing its gonna be a tad bit longer than the first

i like the way the wii revolutionized thier controller but only 2 things prevented me from buying a wii , graphics aint nxt-gen , most of the games are family or kiddy game ( wich is a problem that nintendo always had )

Well , you have to bare in mind that the game isn't fully complete.

It has many months ahead (not sure how many) - but by then, it'll sort the combat out and do some tweaks. The game is going to be great (hopefully), but I doubt it will have the same atmosphere as fable 1.
