I am a huge fable fan i completed the 1st game 17 times (yes very sad). I am looking forward to fable 2 so much. So i was wondering what you guys thought. In my opinion peter molyneux makes a lot of sense. He calls it a breakthrough for rpgs. I agree with him because of the AI and drama to be frank hes one cool developer !

along with your opinions on that. Ive been wanting to start a fansite for fable 2. so i did but its not great infact its very basic. The idea is for forums and guides and kinda just a fable comunity along with clans. i thought we could make mini teams and just meetup on fable 2 on xbox live. well i want your advice on my website and be as insulting as you like ;) its www.fable-fan.webs.com !

so what do you think about fable 2 ? and what about my web ?

17 times!? Now that's what I call a true Fable Fan.

The website is really awesome, and I like it a lot. Keep it updated with the latest news and info and it'll be great. As for Fable 2, I'm really looking forward to it, especially the online co-op play. But I've learned now, Peter is just as much a marketing machine as he is a visionary, so don't set your expectations too high. The original game was really fun, but not that 'ground-breaking' game he stated it would be in development.

17, well i did 9, I love saving in the arena then restarting, your character gets ridiculously powerful. I hope that you cant do that in fable 2 though. I havent been keeping up w/ 2 so i cant comment if I think it will be "the evolution..." but I do think that it will be really good, and I'm definitly getting it. Your website is pretty cool by the way.

The folks at LionHead are really going crazy with this game. But then again, according to Peter, they have always gone crazy with their games.

Don't get me wrong, I'm really looking forward to it, and I really did enjoy fable. However, I think that my enjoyment of Fable was because I wasn't really paying attention when Peter was hyping it, so thankfully I went into it with wide open expectations and didn't get disapointed.

Co-op gameplay is a much needed step for role playing games, espically if you look at the RPGs in the past that had coop. It's pretty much Secret of Mana on the SNES... that's all outside of MMORPG's and NWN/Baldur's which were PC titles.

However, the co-op in Fable 2 isn't as fleshed out as it could be. The character that joins you is merely a henchman, not the other player's actual character. I understand the design decision behind this, but it stinks that you can't play with your toon and his/her pimped out equipment, and are instead restricted to a more generic henchman. It would be really fun to be able to play though the game with my girl as our respective characters.

This game is going to be great, but I have a feeling that it is going to leave me thirsting for more.

if this co-op feature will truly give you the experience he claims, then this will be a revolution for RPGs on consoles

That was a great website gizmo12345. Even though it is very basic, it's better to do the simple things good than the fancy things badly.

I have beaten Fable a couple of times and I enjoyed it. I know Fable had flaws, but so does every other game. Overall, I loved the original Fable and I believe I got my money's worth out of that game. I think Fable 2 has unlimited potential. The fact that you can have 2 or more games communicate with each other is amazing (i.e. the XBox Live Arcade games that allow you to earn Fable 2 money). I'm sure there will be flaws with this game, but you have to imagine that there will be a huge amount of positives that this game does right.

The Co-op play looks fantastic. Co-op can sometimes make a great game even better to play. I love the idea that there will finally be a Co-op RPG game available to the XBox 360. I played the Baulder's Gate games for the Playstation 2/XBox (Dark Alliance 1 and 2 as well as Champions of Norrath). Those games were amazing because they had a Co-op feature. They were good games on their own, but having a co-op feature made those games even better than they were. They were that much more enjoyable. I'm glad to see there is a Co-op RPG coming out.

As far as Fable 2 goes......I can't wait for it to arrive.

Has any of you heard of that xbox live arcade game they are going to release before they bring out fable 2?

its a gambling game that takes place in a pub, like the mini games in fable 1, the money you make in the xbox live arcade game actually transfers itself to your fable 2 character.

Yeah there are actually 3 games that will allow you to get money for Fable 2 from this link here

The three titles are Keystone, Mage Dice, and Wizard's Tower. That's just awesome!

He means developers unless you're one :P. Anyway i duobt Fable 2's gonna be "revolutionary" but it'll be tons of fun. It might be alittle revolutionary but i'm not gonna overhype the game and just expect a better experience than Fable. I beat the original like 6 times it was loads of fun and i think Co-op will really make it sell better since most non-multiplayer games are just rents to a lot of people.

I thought Fable, while a decent game in its own right, was possibly the most disappointing game ever made. I will not touch Fable 2.

I don't think this is right. Based on what I've heard I'm sure you can use your own character in a co-op game. For example, you can take all of the gold and experience you earn in the co-op game back to your own single player game. If all you played as was a generic henchmen what would be the point in that unless your single player and co-op characters are separate and I haven't heard anything in that regard. Also, Peter was asked if there were any limitations on co-op such as level restrictions and he said no. If you wanted to bring in your level 50 friend to co-op with your level 5 character, even though they could win all the battles easily, so be it. So I'm sure the generic henchmen idea is not right. It just doesn't match any of the information I've seen. Edit: It may be an option if your friend doesn't have any Fable 2 character of their own. That would make sense, bringing in a generic character so you could co-op with a friend that doesn't have Fable 2.

It looks solid and all, but I don't think Fable will appeal to me very much. I like extreme awesomeness more then love this and love that if you know what I mean. I do understand other people may love the crap out of Fable 2 though.
