I worked on my fable 3 character character for awhile now, (i got the game when it came out) so i was playing with my friend and we were exiting the drifting sands to aurora city and for some reason we could'nt go through so we kept on walking and we fell through the map, then it saved so now im traped down there and when i try to get into the guild area it just pops up the stupid option menu/ save menu, so now i can't even fast travel out of there, just posting this in case anyone has any advice but i've tryed everything from joining my friends game and saving to trying to use the load screen, just warning everyone so they don't have to completely lose everything and have to restart like i am, i don't really feel like playing through it again so i think im just gona quit fable now XP
im king and everything i had most of the quests done and over half of the keys and every place unlocked, if they would just make it so u can fast travel out of it i could get my character back because i really don't want to start over
I remember running into something very similar in Fable 2. Not only that, my character was stuck in a disfigurement position and I couldn't talk to any NPCs. It was horrible.
Try deleting your account of your harddrive and recover. If you do dont worry there is an option to keep everything on your xbox so map packs and videos are still there
The whole game can be beaten in 2 days at the least (even with best outcome of 6.5 million in treasury, kept all promises). I'd just start over. I do agree though. That is a huge glitch.
i already tried going to another players game and nothing has worked so far, so now the only way i can play is if one of my friends is on so i can play in thier game
i no the game can be beaten in two days but i have to work and go to college so i don't exctaly have that much time to kill, and im gona just go play another game because i will get really bored just having to play through it again
i feel your pain brother...it just happened to me....fell through the same glitch...now my guy is stuck in limbo and i can't do sh!t about it....my buddy was able to back just fine...but my game saved so i'm stuck there like you.....they need to release a patch for that or something, i've 12 hours in, and really don't feel like starting another game.....so pissed right now...for the rest of you, it happens in a co-op game while walking towards the Veil place off of the Shifting Sands...if you walk too far, you'll fall into this game ending glitch
It happened to me to as well mate.I tried going through the door then saved then came back and im just floating around like a idiot. This happened to me late last night while also playing online co-op.So it looks like they will need to sort that out with a patch or something as i am the king and need to open all the stuff and find all gnomes and plants.If you want my gamertag just send me a message on this site ok.Im so annoyed about this but happy that im not the only one that this has happened too!!!
ouch, hate game enders like that. Sorry to hear you guys are having trouble i havnt checked it out yet, the new fable games are like all new electronics gotta give em a little while to figure out all the bugs n glitches before buying, kind of a nasty way to reward your earlier buyers as a game company though, "o whats that you've waited how long for our game to come out, we've told you its going to be how good and fun? well hope you don't run into something that will make it unplayable within the first few days," Thats just bad programming/business. Id want my money/hours of life back, haha.
an other is the baron mission where u shrink on a board game i made to baron two times and in co-op the baron just vanishs and thats it stuck fir life i reloaded still nothing had to to restart 2 times
I'm stunned at just how glitchy it actually is. Compared to 2 this game is trash. How do u take such a huge step backwards? The combat is worse in everyway. The story is weak beyond belief. The tech glitches and slowdowns r constant. the magic and leveling systems r ruined. the only cool thing this game has going for it is when ur king u can make some cool choices. What is the excuse lionhead? The truth is is that this is half finished rushed out the door crap!
Sorry don`t agree with ya one bit @full_disclosure.This game is way better than the other two.The only problem this game has is the co-op online.As my game glitched out only when i started playing it online and within 30 mins this happened (read my last post on this) just have to wait for the patch now and then start playing this awesome game again :)
alrighty now i found several ways of getting out of the glitch there are quite a few but some of which only work for some people, the one that managed to work for me was having my friend in my game go to his load character screen while in my game and then exiting to the dashboard it brings u to the sancutuary which allowed me to fast travel out of there
Well that hasn't happened to me but something just as bad has happened! My magic and weapons are in my armoury but I can't use them! I went to the Road to rule to buy my last spell. I went out of it and no weapons! Btw I am the king and still doing the options! I'm on a quest where I have to kill stuff so I am officially stuck! Also I nearly have all the weapons so I do not want to restart!
I've got something similar, but again not alike in anyway. I've just retrieved the diamond from aurora, got all the way back to the castle into the treasury, the door has locked behind me and won't let me leave till i complete the quest, but my kid is in there too, and Hobson is just repeating the same phrases again and again and again and i can't action it at all...i've tried taking all out of my treasury and nothing, tried the other way round nothing. Just completely stuck in a small room with an annoying brat that won't stop asking for a **** toy that for some reason i can't kill...and this moronic prick with a diamond he doesn't know what to do with! GRRRRRRR ANGRY AT SUCH A SHODDY HALF FINISHED GAME!!!

That's why I'm only getting Fable III when all the glitches are solved and it's price is half of the current one, hopefully the GOTY with all the DLC.
But I share your pain, man. I had a 120h save on Oblivion (Perfect character with all the possible guild ranks at maximum and king of the Shivering Isles) that got corrupted, so yeah, I'm not that happy.
I've encountered terrible framerate drops in certain parts of the world. Down to literally 3-4 FPS. The dog has appeared on top of a few signs as well, that's all I've come across so far. Seems a little smoother than the second game which didn't set the bar particularly high. There's no excuse for Lionhead's slack and sloppiness, Fable 3 should be made to run absolutely perfectly after fan feedback from Fable 2.
Does anyone actually know if this patch is coming out next week or not? As im getting annoyed in the lack of a release date for this patch/update. When they do release it i for one hopes it sorts my glitched out save as ive been waiting for 10 days now to start playing it again ;( At least i have Black Ops to take my frustrations out on lol.
