Have you tried setting Brightwood Tower as your target? If you haven't found it yet then you'll just have to keep walking around Brightwood until you find it and gets added to your map.
you have to acquire 2.5 mil in real estate. basically just buy all the houses you can, and try and get the castle as well, if you put up the rent on all of them you can do it faster but you get inpurity points aswell.

The easiest way is to buy these buildings, some of which you wont have if you're only just finding Garth's tower. Once you have all of these you just need to but as many houses as possible in all of the towns.
Fairfax Castle - After the game is complete.
Cemetery Mansion - After the "Love Hurts" mission.
Father Gile's Farm (Brightwood) - After the "Blind Date" mission.

yeah, i know but i can't find anything else?
You have to buy literally everything. have you got the pub between bowerstone and somewhere (you go there right after you come out of the hobbecave near the beggining of the game.) have you got all of bloodstone. have you got brightwood tower and reavers mansion and all the pubs. Also you can increase the property value of a property by buying new furniture. (there is an achievment for it if you double the property value of a house.)
