These are my top two games this fall. It's hard to decide so I'm getting both. Luckily my birthday is the weekend between the two releases so it's perfect timing!
Wow, I don't think I could make that choice. I'm getting both. I am equally hyped for both. Id sell older games or Blu-Rays or w/e i could to make sure both could be bought.
Fable 2 for sure, theres supposed to be like a dozen endings based upon your choices. Get both if you can though, they both look great!Frenzyd109
If youve played the previous fallouts then youd know that they had way more endings then youd probably ever want to get. They had like 5 endings.......For every city and organization, of which there was a lot.

I don't think I could ask anyone to choose between the 2 of them. Its too bad that my most anticipated games are coming out a week apart. Fable 2 will most likely surpass Fallout 3, but I am getting both of them on their release date. I'm just afraid of not giving either of them their full attention they deserve.
Remember, Fallout 3 is developed by a completely different company than the first two fallouts, and it is based on the same engine as Oblivion, which can be good and bad. Thankfully the people don't look as much like ogres and the scenery looks better, but there's still something about the way it renders everything that just isn't right.
So my vote goes to Fable II, number one wasn't as good as it was being hyped to be, but it's still one of the best Xbox games. Fable two hasn't been hyped as much, looks great on its own.... what isn't there to like?
Personally I like Fallout 3 more, combat is key to a game or atleast to me it is and Fable II wasn't that impressive. Not saying it's terrible just Fallout is on a whole new level.
I'm having a lot of trouble deciding. Fable 2 seems to have a lot more in store, but despite that, Fallout 3 looks more promising. My issue is the fact that my budget is really limited, and I don't really want to have two amazing RPGs to worry about at one time, so I'm trying to decide between one and the other instead of getting both. I'll probably end up owning both eventually but I'll most likely get Fallout 3 first.
Luckily I have been planning for this busy winter and been setting aside some money for a lil while now, and I've already got Fable 2, and Fallout 3 pre-ordered and paid for, and I've got GeOW2 and COD5 reserved, the only thing I need to pay for still if Left 4 Dead which looks awesome, and Dead Space if I decide I want it. Without the proper planning I wouldnt be playing anything new this winter seeing as how oil prices are like rock prices now. But if I had to only pick one of the two I'd probably get Fallout because its gonna be a game you can spend like 100 hours playing by yourself, and while Fable does look awesome, I see myself primarily playing it online with a friend once they add online coop through the update.
I actually have played the previous 2 Fallout games (not tactics,or the XBOX one, I thnk it was called Brotherhood of Steel). I remember beating the first one, but not sure if I ever completed the 2nd. Bother were some of my favorite games, although i was like 13 when I played them so I'm sure I missed a lot of the humor and strateg involved.
Just get Fallout 3, I mean, if your into violently killing people and awesome RPG aspects of that nature you can't go wrong. I like Fable and all, but Fallout 3 just looks hella mean. I love RPG's, just so many awesome things you can do in them, makes other games seem boring.
If Molyneux actually admitted to there being problems in the game, I am seriously concerned about Fable 2. I hope it turns out good, or I got excited for nothing.
Fallout 3 is made by Bethesda, who have impressed me tons with the Elder Scrolls games, and all of the previews of Fallout 3 are very positive.
