ive only played them a couple times each
fable 2 is great but theres some things they changed from the first one that would have been better if they had been left
fallout 3 is a challenging game and will probly give you more playtime.
fallout is probly the way to go but if you dont like it just return it and get fable or do what my friend did: get fable play it a bunch then return it for fallout
Well as a owner of Fable 2 I can say I was somewhat dissapointed when I got my game back from my local shop on day of release. As a big fan of the original I feel I may have hyped the game substainally prior to release. It just feels to short, gameplay wise it is amazing and the graphical representation of albion is exceptional, but I managed to complete the main story arch and all sub quests within a matter of days. I felt pretty much empty and wanting more of this game that I was so eager to get home and play. It relies on things like property to development, trade, pub games, and just too many small things which doesnt really make for a good few hours of play once the game is completed. The evil and good story archs are the same and the ways you can approach them are similar just with a few different outcomes and different cutscenes. Having played this game for a approx 16 hours of a few months I can say that it's not a must buy if your not a fan of the original or a heavy rpg game player, I would recommend a rental, and then maybe purchase it after if you really like it as I know many do. However all my criticism aside it's still a top title in this christmas period.
Fallout 3 on the otherhand I have yet to buy, but I can tell you now, from what I have seen, read and played of it (briefly) had I not bought fable 2 I would have definatly have gone for this title. I might be still suprised and Fallout 3 is a bit of a dissapointment aswell, but I will only know christmas morning. Hope the fable 2 info is helpful.
Alright fellas.. so I'm looking for a fun and immersive RPG to get lost in this winter season and I wanted the opinion from you guys: the gamers. Out of the two listed, which one offers the most enjoyable experience and replayability? In other words, all considered, which one would you recommend? Thanks in advance.wOnKaCatalystI would have to say get Fallout 3 it is more fun then Fable 2.
