Fable II yay or nay?

ok so..i just got fable II yesterday and i thinks its pretty fun..but wat do u guyz think? YAY? or NAY? on Fable II?

Dang, I'm still on "Scientific Pursuits".

I got it a week ago and it's pretty much the only game I've been playing since I got it.

And I havent even finished the main quest yet. I really love the admosphere and the humour in the game.

So it gets a big Yay from me :D

Yay. Its a good game. Gotta finish it, then I'll get the DLC. I love the replay value of that games this generation has.

It loses its appeal very fast when i first got it i loved it then the story finished in a flash and was basically the same story from fable 1 except worse and the ending is so cliche you see it coming like a train and there are not many quests to do after the story but i didnt do them because i couldnt be bothered. Seriously there is no benefit to you for doing these quests except more and more 'renown' but by the end of the story every one in the whole land knows you and the world is small and linear compared to oblivion or even morrowind. You dont even die you just get a 'scar' which doesnt affect gameplay in any way. And having to work for your family is the biggest drag. And I distinctly remember Peter Molyneux saying that the female characters would get pregnant but after youve done it all there is is a cutscene and you have a baby and it does nothing and all you can do is 'expressions'. You cant talk to people for some reason maybe you dont understand their language. Peter Molyneux is not to be trusted and i will never buy another lionhead studios game in the entirety of my existence.

I am still trying to decide myself.

I can't give you a postive or negative answer, but I am curious to see what everybody else says.

Great RPG, 2nd behind Fallout 3 on 360 IMO. :)

I bought it last week and I've been enjoying it immensely so far. I spent a good deal of time just messing around, or buying and selling between vendors to make some money and buy some stores. The emote system is pretty good, though it seems too easy to get people to fall in love with you. I hate having twenty people in a zone all in love with me, so I started flipping them all off.

The combat system works really well and is fun to use. Lots of different techniques you can try, and I enjoy the magic system the most. Getting beat on a bit while you charge a level 5 fireball and then destroying everything in the general area once it goes off... rather satisfying.

I'm probably only halfway through the main story so far, so I don't agree that it's short. I guess it's short if you do only the main story, but with all the other stuff that can be done in this game, it has some good lasting appeal.
