Does anyone else think that Fable 2 has better concept art than the actual game itself???? When I was viewing some of the art on Fable 2's official website. I swear the real art of all the characters and such look fantastic. But when you look at screen shots for the gameplay, they look so identical to the first Fable game.

Quite honestly the female characters look s3xy in the art lol but for some reason their hidious in the real game. And the male characters have huggge smiles too.

Whats up with Lionhead???

Most concept is better than game art, because it is all about the art itself. In game, it has to have minimal pixels to reduce lag, and animate smoothly.

I hate that too. It's like "Awww they should left that for the game!".

Every game ever made is like that. When you're just creating a stale, in animate drawing, you can make it as detailed as possible.

thats exactly what that art is concept art yeah they want it to look as close to that as possible but they already knew that wasnt going to happen its more about copying the same style and feel then making it look exactly the same and they did a good job with it.

Concept art usually never looks like the actual in game art, they are different mediums after all and no developer's going to risk a drop in frame rate or a ''buggy'' game just for a bit of extra detail. People can say the graphics in whatever game are brilliant but if the game isn't playable it's still going to flop.
