As much as i love fallout 3 and its hands down one of the best games bethesda has put out the new expansion pack is absolutely horrid. There are more flaws and bugs in it than a building in the projects. one of my favorite being that at the end not only do they not give you enough ammo to kill the guy but after like 2 minutes of fighting him your OWN GUYS WILL LITERALLY START ATTACKING YOU FOR NO APPARENT REASON. There are alos metal beams u can walk right through in that area. also i saw more enemies miraculously go through the floor than ever. i am very disappointed in this expansion and bethesda and hope the next 2 are better. what are your thoughts on the expansion???

My friend told me it was awesome. Maybe something is wrong with your disc or DL. Try redownloading it.

My main problem was that the expansion kind of strayed from the classic Fallout 3 open world gameplay and felt much more linear. It just didn't really feel like an expansion and more of a few missions in a new area that didn't really blend well with the rest of the game. No idea what you are talking about though :s

do the glitch where you can keep all your stuff and it will be worth it.

you get all the stuff in the armory at the end. why would you need to do a glitch?

I liked the expansion. It was what I expected. If it makes you feel any better, though, the next two expansions coming out will be much, much better. The main reason for this being the fact that they won't be simulations, but true "expansions" of the original game.

I thought the DLC was alright, but over priced.

I didn't hate it but I felt like I didn't quite get my $10 worth either. Too short, too easy.

I havent played it yet. I didnt like Fallout 3, granted I didnt play it that much, but what I did play I didnt care for. Ill give it another chance, but ONLY if Bethesda releases another GoTY like they did with Oblivion with it including the 3 Expansion packs there are/will be released, which I have a feeling that theyre going to.

Sory to hear your experience was not pleasant. I enjoyed playing through it. Had no problem with bugs while playing either

I was already a level 20 with 100% of the quests completed when the expansion came out so I currently don't have much use for all the cool new gear you get after completing. It will be fun using it when the new DLC is relased over the next few months.

the armor and stuff was cool at the end but as for the actual expansion i thought it kinda sucked. it was wasnt entertaining to get through. if it wasnt for the draggon stealth suit and that chinese sword i would have been really dissapointed. though i still am i spent $10 bucks on it

TC it looks like I'm the only one who agrees with you. The quality of the DLC definately did not match the quality of the full game, I too noticed many bugs. Often enemies would simply not attack me, or friendly NPCs would get stuck in loops in which they just walk back and forth or in circles repetitively, and many times I experienced a glitch in which my gun just didn't seem to fire- meaning there was no muzzle flash and no damage was registered even though I was pulling the trigger. Also, the crosshairs were much harder to use to interact with things. I like the extra content I got but overall the DLC was buggy.

I never experienced any bugs. I thought overall it was great and it made me want to get back into Fallout 3 and beat it.

Eh, it's DLC. I didn't really expect much from it in the first place.

I didn't have any of those problems and thought it was a good change of pace. Plus it was kinda fun seeing the world before the bombs dropped.

I don't see the point of adding 3 little snippets of DLC. I think the point of DLC for a game like this, a game which revolves around the idea of open-ended exploring and decision making, should simply increase the size of the world map outward, opening up entire new areas to explore, meet people, and start new quests.

Failure? Are you kidding me? I loved the DLC; it wasn't buggy at all and my own teammates most certainly didn't start shooting at me.

+1. The only problem I had was I fell off one of the bridges in the canyon and could not get back up so had to reload. I'm sorry to hear that your experience was not pleasurable. I enjoyed it so much I actually got back to finishing some of the quests that I did not get to before the Xmas rush.

I can't really comment on the bugs because I played it on the pc on which I did not come across any, but I really enjoyed the DLC, it felt like a cross between crysis and halo, two games I love :)

Haven't tried the new expansion yet, but I was wondering since I just got xbox live my profile that I created for Xbox Live is fresh, Im playing the game the profile I was using before I got live set up. Since I can only download the expansion on the Xbox live profile, will I only be able to access it on that profile or is it like a permanent expansion that can be used across all profiles. I don't wanna have to start the game over again on this new profile... that would f***in blow. Any help is appreciated. Thanks Jim

I expirenced the glitch when fighting General Jingswei the guys in power armor started attacking me. Oh well, the items were worth it.
