In my eyes it will be much better
Then again anyone who handed me a copy of Oblivion would be called my enemy lol
The fact that it's more action oriented (with 1st and 3rd person views) plus the humor in the game does it for me.
Unless the game is broken it'll be terrific
I was a big fan of Morrowind, I thought Oblivion was really really boring... the story was totally lacking, and the leveled loot and enemies was horrid.
Fallout 3 cannot be worse than that game, it just can't be
Just because it is from the same developer, doesn't mean you can compare the two. They're very different type of games. EnigmaticBeauty
But both games are free-roaming(Without vehicles) and put a similar emphasis on freedom and side-quests. Anyway, I think Fallout three should be better if they follow through on their promise to make all of the NPCs unique and if they make the main story better than Oblivion's. The enviroment looks a little bland, but some of the weapons sound really fun.

same here oblivion isnt better than morrowind. but i still love oblivion for what it is. as for compairing the two...i dont see how it could be worse than oblivion. my grade scale is based on morrowing goty for WRPG's. so for me the Q. is will it be better than Morrowind GOTY. and i say..it hasent come out yet
[QUOTE="ThEmAk_XD"]It going to be the same and a little worstchaoscougar1

Agreed... I don't really know how you can compare the two other than like the number of sales. which'll be an interesting battle.

Bland enviroments, even if you don't know the story around it the name Fallout should be a good enough hint. What do you think it would look like???

I wasn't blaming the developers, but reguardless of the obvious reasons for it's looks the end result is still just as ugly.

I agree if something like that was to happen it would look ugly. The broken, battered, torn, & just flat out rampaged envrioments as ugly as they may be to you create the image of what the world has been through & what it has become.
it will be better for sure
oblivion + guns = fallout 3
this game will be awesome. the vat system looks interesting, as i can see hours, even days of my life being used enjoying this game
I liked almost everything about Oblivion except for the cookie cutter characters and interactions with them. Hopefully Bethesda takes a cue from Bioware (example: Mass Effect) and ups the ante on those. Bioware has been having excellent character interactions since Baldur's Gate so I honestly can't see why Oblivion wasn't better in that respect.
