A moral Dillema Concerning Fallout 3 should I blow up megaton or not? I know you get a place in Tenpenny, but is it worth it. And that abandoned house in megaton is that going to eventually be for sale.
I was wondering the same thing. As of right now I told the guy off that wants me to do it but it looks like I can go back and blow it up anytime I want. Right now I think I might save the city but I would like to know the benefits of blowing it to hell. I know you would probably get some prity bad Karma for it...
[spoiler] If you don't blow it up you get a house in Megaton. I'd say don't blow it up, I did and definitely regret it because the city felt so alive, especially compared to everything else. [/spoiler]

Well this is like...the very beginning.
I took both paths last night to see the difference. I actually found the evil path way more fun. Go around and talk to the townspeople, they are all such asses it doesn't make it a difficult choice. And I'm one who normally has morality problems, I never went evil in Oblivion.
dude, either decision is rewarding, it matters if you want to maintain good karma or negative karma. I mean you cant blow up the town and save it at the same time, so save the game before making a decision, pick one and play it out, load the save point and play out the other outcome.

Try what I did, after talking to Burke and telling him off, go tell the sheriff about Burke. What happens next is really cool, I won't tell you though. It surprised me alot.
