Fallout 3 is rated M. Anyone know what it's rated M for?

Thanks!

It will feature drug use(you can use drugs, like Morphine and get addicted to them) and it will be quite violent. I'm guessing some foul language too.

I would think violence alone could very well get it the M rating.

It's too bad they probably removed a lot of the M content from Fallout 2.

Perhaps he wants to get it for his kid and doesn't mind his kid being exposed to certain things yet cares about other things and would like to know.

Well actually yes it could. If they removed drugs, blood, the blowing off of limbs, cussing, and any other violent thing it could very possibly be a T rated game and it would still be Fallout 3... The game AS IT IS Will has no chance to be a T rated game, but they could change it just for the hell of it.

Umm isn't it obvious? If not just read the ESRB rating on the box and it will tell you.

Well no **** . And if you made the animals in Viva Pinata spray blood and guts instead of candy when you break them open , then it would be rated M. And no it would not still be Fallout because that would be taking out everything that defined the series.

I've been reading up on that game for a while now, I went and got COD: World at War over it which was a mistake, xbox ended up eating it, scracthed a perfect circle around the outside edges. Gonna get it here within the next few days hopefully.

Fallout 3 features violent dismemberment. That alone gives it an M rating.

Language and massively gory violence. Once youre leveled up, shots to the face with a shotgun will decapitate almost every time (small guns 100). Oh, and the bloody mess perk... It is fun to have to find pieces of the guy you just gibbed to search him for supplies. You also become addicted to drugs if you use them too often (i.e. not very often). They removed the morphine before release. You also have the choice to nuke and entire town (mature content).

Lol...You just made me laugh until I nearly peed. I would play that version of Viva Pinata! Especially if it had VATS so they could explose in slo-mo.
