im at the part where u have to enter the code into the purifier-but i dont want to end the game yet-any way i can get out of it and continue with the game?

This is pretty much the last thing you do in the game. So, if you want to continue playing, either reload an older save, or get the Broken Steel dlc (which removes the ending of the game).

I would suggest just beating the game and getting the Broken Steel Expansion for 800 MS Points. It raises the level cap to 30, and continues the storyline so that the game does not end at the mission you are on.

No, only Broken Steel adds continuation to the main questline.

No, only Broken Steel adds continuation to the main questline.

Yeah, you'd be able to explore the Wasteland after the end of the game. Broken Steel is the way to go.

If you decide to get Broken Steel, you may have to wait a couple in-game hours before it 'loads' into the game. I recall about 20 minutes into a play session after downloading it i got a message 'Broken Steel is now loaded' or something. Just a heads up.
