Fallout 3 : GOTY Edition Question

Hey guys, I know there are two discs that come with in the retail box and I know the second one gives you the option to install the DLC. But after you've installed it, will you need to put the second disc back in the console ever? I'm asking because I could just get them off a friend if need be.

And yea, I read some other posts on the forums but the people that answered seemed kind of unsure. So any help would be appreciated! Thanks

No you don't :D, you can install the content, then throw the disc in bin, and never think about it again
