Is there some sort of bank, or a place you can store your inventory? I remember in Oblivion there was a spot where you jumped to a balcony no one could get to, so I stored alll my stuff there, or will people not steal anything in fallout? Thanks for the replys.
Dunno if you get the same if you set the bomb off, but the Butler robot in the Megaton house is amazing, he's hilarious, and handy to have about, does anyone know how long it takes for him to replenish his water supplies??

:) The butler is funny - he replenishes his water supplies after a week, though the dialogue option will still be greyed out. The only way to check is to click it and see if he gives you water or not. I don't know if NPCs will steal from random containers or not. Stuff in your megaton house or Tenpenny tower suite are totally safe, but I assumed most other containers are safe as well. If in doubt pick a location that is naturally abandoned and use that instead, or if it isn't abandoned when you find it, make sure it is when you leave :)
