If there are other people like me who did not really fully get into Fallout 3. I mean, i am playing the %#$ out of Fable 2, so I do enjoy RPGs, but Fallout 3 for me was not too good. First of all, FPS is my main genre, and it did not attract me in that game. Number 2, Obvlivion never attracted me that much so I guess this game gets some similarity. I know it is a game to enjoy, and i do enjoy all games, but I don't know, it wasn't a "WOW" as many people say, especially because of its 70+ you get from it.

I am not hating. :)

70+ what I get from it? Can you clarify that TC?

I'm not going to try and rant on you, but if FPS is your main genre, and you expected Fallout 3 to play like an FPS, you're not ognig to enjoy it.

I have one question to you though TC, does Fable 2's story and environment immerse you as much as Fallout 3? To that, Fallout 3 is un-questionably well at.

The main reasonI said that I play Fable 2 a lot is to show that I also love RPGs. Fallout 3 needed its shooting to be more perfected. For me it ruined a part of the game. I'll just say this, I got bored. Long walking games are not my type.

Fable is something that brings unique elements to the table. I don't see a different concept between Fallout and Oblivion in terms of its engine, interactivity.

Different people like different things. Fable 2 is more for the type of person who likes some choice, but doesn't want to be overwhelmed by the choices. Fallout 3 is more open and has much more choice and patience required.

Can you please clarify what you meant by 70+?

Anyways, did you explore, or did you straight throguh the main story?

Fallout encourages exploration. But maybe you just simply didn't like it. I mean some games, for any reason, just aren't meant for people and that's just the truth. Personally, I find Fable 2 to be more "dumbed down," and Fallout to be more engaging, and I just like the 1950's type of lifestyle and just, to imagine what it'd be like, living in the future, with civilization going absolutely nuts. I just love that fact. It's just got that part of it that makes you want to believe it, kind of like Bioshock's environment and setting.

Fable 2 is just like, you grow up, and do what you want in this setting where gunpowder is just being experimented with. Fable 2, was just not made for me is what I'm trying to say, and Fallout 3 was.

I'm not trying to argue with you TC, nor am I saying either game is better than the other, but I'm saying some games people just don't like for any explanation or reason.

Pretty sure he means 70 plus hours of gameplay which is close to what I have heard about Fallout 3. I'm getting both Fable 2 and Fallout 3 for Christmas I really hope I like them both. Both games seem like so much fun!

Exactly; was it really that hard to guess? Anyway, NsaneNoob, you have your opinion, and I respect it... I guess. I really don't feel that Fable II deserves all the attention you're giving it, though. You should really play Fallout 3 differently from the way you're playing it/you played it, because there are so many ways to do so that there's always a way to enjoy the game.

fully knowing and expecting what Fallout 3 would be like, i can say I didn't enjoy the experience at all. I clocked about 20 hours, i was never really grabbed into the world...not like many other RPG's i've played. Even my friends who played 40+ hours came back and said they didn't enjoy it either. At least i was happy to see i wasn't the only one who was disappointed overall. not that its a BAD game, i just didn't enjoy it.

What I just can't grasp, is the fact that you played Fable 2 first, and yet Fallout was the disappointment?

I would never consider Fable better than Fallout...ever.

I am playing both and really like them both! Fable 2 is fun but not quite as engaging while Fallout 3 has a ton more depth! Just depends how much detail you like!

I wouldn't link loving Fable 2 with being an RPG fan - it may be called RPG, but in the loosest candy-coated sense of the word. And Fallout isn't meant to be a shooter. It seems the TC is approaching these games from totally the wrong angles.

I played Fallout 3 first for maybe 10+ hours.
