i havent notice many bugs
and the ones i have arent a big deal to me
i do, however, hate how almost everyone seems to talk for no reason ALL the time
its ok for them to break the silence every once in a while
but every two seconds
"dont steal that" "its locked for a reason" "my daddy says dont talk to strangers"
STFU!
it has screwed up on me some. freezed a couple times. enemies glitchin. like once 3 super mutants were teleported across the river right infront of me. theres also the screen tear thing that happened to me where its a bunch of triangle shaped pieces coming out from the middle of the screen. crappy way to describe it but w/e.
***minor spoilers!!!*** also i dont know if its a glitch or not. but i had the big super mutant in my party and the ghoul i think. and went in to necropolis which i have been in plenty of times b4 with them. entered carols place or w/e i think it was and one of the ghouls from the hallway comes in and starts shooting them. the ghouls in the room started fighting with them to, but luckily the ghoul where you get the shoot em in the head quest was asleep lol. and when i went to the rest of the city no one else had a prob.
still not sure why that happened. I've also hadsomething happen 1 time with the sound. i was in th super duper mart and the sound got really loud and it was just static. couldnt get rid of it and had to reload.
the bugs are annoying but still worth playin the game over.
I'm only 4 hours into the game, but I haven't gotten any problems so far.monkeymoose5000Bugs in a game seem to be for the most part, unique to each person that play the game overall, thefore different people may encounter bugs in their game that you don't encounter in your game and vise versia.
I have the game for Xbox 360, I was scared of how good the controlls would be for the Wii.
It's buggy on 360 too, I just think it's an overall buggy game.

lol noob this game isn't out for the wii
i ve had some experiences in the past of freezing aswell buti have to agree with Doomtime. Oblivion didnt have as many glitches because it didnt have a larger area to explore
I have no personal problems with mine I bought it new. The only thing is when I finish the Dr.Li escort mission I can't move I can look around, but not move its driving me nuts cus i can't go further in the game til i find a way around it.
I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. Only had two freezes the the whole first playthrough and none so far on the second one. Other than that no buggy anything for me.Bigboi500Same here. I've logged well over 100hrs. and only froze twice on me, a little framerate dip a time or two, but all in all pretty bug free.
Does anyone else think this gameis way to buggy for it's own good?
The game has frozen on my twice so far once outside Tenpenny Tower, the other while entering VATS
I also see animation bugs and stuff like that
Only the freezing pisses me off and a lot of other people have this problem too. My other games work flawlessly so it's not my 360.Toriko42
every games buggy this is roughly the same amount of buggyness as Oblivion just wait for patches because Bethseda a pretty famous bug solvers DAmn THEm you cannot expect an open world game that potentially have 100+ hours of gameplay a hell of a lot of options and consequences etc and not have crappy bugs that freeze the xbox . Just be glad you didn't get it for ps3 or if you hate bug PC as well (although 2009 PC version will be ultimate)
I have only had one problem in Megaton where anything beyond ten yards from me fizzes out into a black or yellow void. This only happened once though. Don't worry too much, Bethesda should have some updates in no time.tktomo01
Happened to me in one of the vaults damn it bright

its not for wii idiot
Fallout 3 is a really complicated game engine, I would expect some bugs. Try clearing the Cache (google it). Save in multiple files. Oblivion was the same way--I had a whole town killing each other once in Imperial city it was a bloodbath! You can expect glitches. I have played it for about 3 days now and have not had once glitch (knock on wood). Since it is an open ended game I think a lot of the glitches come from player's actions--like getting people to attack each other or killing the wrong npc.Motarabest glitch ever start one fight and you've started a riot and then the riot ends up being the worst thing you've done because the towns so empty eventhough most of the npc have no relation to your gaming experiance and i type all that long sentence without looking at the screen and using only 1 finger
I once had a problem where everything that moved sunk into the ground, but when it moved it would come to the top of the ground. It made shooting things impossible, walking annoying, and crossing bridges deadly. When it first happened I ignored it and fell through a bridge and died, second try I gave up and saved and restarted the system. That seemed to work fine.
But It's certainly not buggy enough for me to stop playing. I'm loving every minute, even when I'm freaked out.
The game has frozen on me a number of times, and it gets frustrating, but luckily I save a lot. Other than that, it has become one of my favorite games. It is soooo addicitive.yokofox33I agree, it's amazingly fun and a really dense cool game with so much bonus stuff to do...I heart it.
i got the game on friday and started playing on Saturday and so far i havent had any glitches/bugs or freezes
P.S. This game is awesome but i have a question in Megaton theres a guy on the top of town named Stokholm is there anywhere of getting to him? Also are there any main quests in Cantberry Commons that i can get an achievement or anything interesting?
Help would be appreciated
Fallout 3 is fun, dont get me wrong, but it doesnt seem quite as amazing as people say. But i only just finished "following his footsteps". Does it get better? and do you get party members? and it doesnt seem like theres that many choices to make, but are there?gears90It does, you've barely touched the game man 7 hours in and I love it more and more though it can be a bit annoying at times.
Yes there is a way but on the Xbox 360 it is very complicated where as on the PC it is simple. I would look for it on you tube watch the whole video and you will find out it's pointless even killing him you get nothing from what heard.i got the game on friday and started playing on Saturday and so far i havent had any glitches/bugs or freezes
