Fallout 3, Operation Anchorage question

So I finished playing Operation Anchorage on my evil campagin and after I got some of my gear the Outcasts attacked me, this also happened on my good campagin. Is this supposed to happen or did I provoke it somehow?

I'ts supposed to happen no matter what. The guy who starts arguing with the commander doesn't appreciate that he's giving away some of the loot and mutiny's against him. But he's already an outcast what do you expect, once a traitor always a traitor.
