Fallout 3 or Gears 2 if i could choose only 1

right now i have no xbox live but might get one at christmas

so im planning on fallout 3 as my no online game but i already have fable 2 but i dont think fable 2 is tat long

i might save up my lunch money for one of these, and gears of war 2 if i get this one, then i get to have story mode which in gears of war 1 is still fun for me because i just got it 2 months ago and campaign is still fun, and there will be horde mode. me and my friend always play a fun game called Boxhead in addicting games.com or agame.com but thats when i didnt have my xbox, but its fun because you battle waves of zombies and its coop and you find boxes of weapons there is a leaderboard, and gears of war 2 looks like this is the same thing but its 3rd person and boxhead is like zelda for a gameboy, which this could be fun without xbox live but i might get xbox live at xmas. but fallout 3 is long and only 1 player, but gears of war 2 looks cool too

Get Gears 2 it has a great campain and it has a great rep for multiplayer because of Gears 1.

Fallout3 is really amazing. Gears of War 2 will have to be really amazing to beat it imo.

Im really looking forward to the HORDE mode in Gears 2 and the coop story mode though:D

I really feel for people who have to pick between Fallout 3 and Gears 2, both must haves.

If you're willing to wait, till early december.. you can probably get Gears 2 and Fallout 3 both for 80 of ebay. Best bet on getting both games for cheap.

honestly i think you should get gears 2 simply because it has coop single player and now you can play online without being on with bots so you should have tons of fun playing horde by yourself and the multiplayer, and you should get a month for 8 dollars that way you can play with your xbox live friends.harlemkid

No offence, but the way you type your paragraphs, it makes me believe you're not old enough for either of the 2 games you've listed. Maybe you should stick to Boxhead.... And dude, f**king use your period key, it was made for people like you who forgot about it.

But, if i had to list a game, get Gears of War 2, fallout 3 gets old, my pal pirated it for me, and i chilled a lil on it, (yes, im ashamed of it) but it kinda got old. VAT system is fun, but it ruines it IMO. Buy Gears 2 because the story alone will be worth a purchase. Ive seen alot of footage of it and the campaign is solid and EPIC, trust me. Overall, buy gears 2 only if you like campaigns and have paid attention to the story of the other gears game, and only if you are going to get xbox live. Because Gears 2 will eventually get old if you're only playing campaign.

But whatever you do, do not buy Fallout 3 unless you know you like the environment, because I hated it. It really threw me off. And if you're like me (which i hope you arent) then you'll also hate it.
