Do you guys have some surviving tips for me? Because I die a lot in Fallout and I cant find really some good ammo. Also am I trying to complete quests, but the most are too hard for me, because the raiders and other creatures are too strong for me. Some tips are welcome. :)

have you tried lowering the difficulty setting?

if you don't want to do that i'd try to find some quests that don't involve much combat

or just steal stuff and sell it for money for more bullets

Sure Ill help you out a bit ^^

This might have to force you to make a new character...

The single most important stat to have in intelligence, since it is directly linked to the amount of Skillpoints you recive per level.

After that Agility is the most important one, It is the main factor in Action points and small arms.

In skills you should go for: Small arms, Lockpick, and a skill of choice as 3rd... Small arms covers all "normal weapons" that use bullets, aka handguns, rifles, AR, Snipers and so on. So most weapons are linked to that skill.

I would not recommend you to put a stat over 9 tho... since bubbleheads are littered throughout the world, read a readme for where they are, do do not manually raise a stat point to 10.

In Perks I can reccomend: Onehander (gunslinger?) It makes you WAY better with 1handed weapons, of all kinds, Commando, which gives a huge bonus to all 2 handed weapons, and sniper which increased your chance for a headshot by alot.

Scrouncher and scavanger perks (I think they are called) both give high chance to find ALOT of bottlecaps and ammo in the containers throughout the game... With those two perks alone it is not unlikely youll have over 6000 caps, and over 2000 in ammo for most smallarms and energyweapons within the first 4 hours of the game.

Lastly... Make sure you start out in areas where you are relatively safe... I can surgest Megaton, and doing the Wasteland survivalguide... It gives alot of good waypoints to you, that you can later use, the intelligence bubblehead can be found in the lab of Rivet city, where you are sent to in one of the Survival guide quests... And do the quests, do not lie about it... you will get a really handy perk (well several of them) for free while doing the quests.

Other good perks, are:Cyborg, Adimentium skeleton (spelling), and damage resistance... those 3 makes you hard as nails, to the point where armors are more beneficial for the bonuses they give, not the stats they have. And the perk that gives you 2 points for each skill book you read, is well worth it, since there should be 10 books for each skill throughout the main game... sums up to 20 skillpoints per skill if you find them, and another 10 points per bubblehead.

So, stick to the center of the world map, and southeast... should be fairly safe... use vats alot. And do the survival guide quest that the woman in the store in megaton gives you... After that, you would be all set to kick arse and rock the wasteland.

loot loot loot. the main thing i did in that game was loot as much stuff as i could, fast travel to somewhere that you can sell it. do this for awhile to get a lot of caps. use those caps to buy a lot of stimpaks. once you have tons of stimpaks it's much easier to avoid dying. make sure you hot key one of the d-pad directions for stimpaks. that way you don't need to pause it every time to apply a stimpak.

Fallout 3 is about learning from your mistakes and starting over. There are countless times I ruined myself in playthroughs and just started over with the knowledge I had then and perservered.

Like someone else said, I suggest you start a new character. I've always had Repair as my priority skill; you always want to ensure your equipment is in tip-top condition before you go taking on the Wastelands. With this skill your amour will offer more protection and your weapons will deal more damage. Your other important skills are Small Guns (determines damage/accuracy with rifles/assault rifles/pistols etc), Speech (this helps a lot in quests) and Science (for hacking terminals). Lockpick can also be useful if you want to get into safes/boxes/rooms that have hard lock difficulty - but keep in mind that a difficult lock does not automatically mean there's something valuable inside.

But don't forget the other skills, they all have benefits, so always give the odd point or two to the other skills when you can.

For S.P.E.C.I.A.L attributes I suggest focusing on Strength (enables you to carry more supplies, which is vital) and Intelligence (provides more skill points for distributing). If you want to try to become successful in the dialog options I suggest you give some attention to your Charisma attribute as well.

To summarise:

- Repair, Small Guns, Speech and Science are your most important skills.

- Strength and Intelligence are your most important attributes.

Top Tips:

- Don't kill stuff for the sake of it. You'll find you're just wasting ammo. Until you get to the point where ammo is plentiful, only kill things that attack you.

- Keep at least 10 Stimpacks on you at all times

- Repair items whenever you have two of the same kind
