I feel that it this day and age, things don't need to be turn-based to be deep anymore. The VATS system sounds like an great way to break it up from being just regular shoot'em up or even a slash'em up like Oblivion was. I can't wait to see the game in motion.

I doubt the formula is going to be turn based. For that kind of game the amount of people who would buy it if it was turn based is much smaller than those who would buy it if it wasn't. I wouldn't and I don't think there is a single 360 in my school (and i knowandtalk to most of them) would buy it if it was turn based. It's too slow and this isn't '98 anymore. Besides didn't they already show some stuff for the combat which didnt sound turn based to me.
