The very beginning of Fallout 3 is pretty slow. Once you get out into the wasteland and start questing out of the first city the game starts to pick up. At least that's what I thought.

What are you guys disappointed with? Should i not bother and just play Fable II?Alizerothree

a lot of mixed reactions because I think the game is amazing and I didnt even like elder scrolls.

I love Fallout 3. In fact, the beginning really sucked me into it. It was "slow" I guess, but it was more dramatic and immersive than most, and pretty clever as a concept. The pace sure doesn't slow down.

I loved Fable, but I can't get into Fable 2. It just seems like more of the same. I'd rather play Fallout, but that's just personal taste.

I really didn't like MGS4, does that mean it's a bad game? Not at all, it just wasn't for me.

Fallout 3 definitely delivers, and my expectations were huge. Maybe it just isn't for you.

Im 6 hours in and im loving it!

I didnt think the game would be all that great, but its fantastic.

Fallout 1 and 2 are two of my all time favorite rpgs and i wasnt sure how part 3 would be. But ive been very surprised at how good it is!

Keep playing it man, takes awhile to get use to the game .

I was also put off by the previews and videos i saw of the game, but actually playign it myself its alot of fun and a a very nice surprise.
I also think this game is better then Fable 2 in everyway possible (expect graphics).

They took everything that was bad in Oblivion and made it good. Much better story, better combat,way better atmosphere and sound.
