Ok so far...
Graphics are 5 % better than Fallout 3. I do mean 5 %. They seem very slightly better than F3's and i am playing on a HDTV.
So far, no glitches and the frame rate has been decent from a naked eye view.
I am getting addicted already...
Will post more later...
First glitch reported:
The frame rate became extremely choppy once i completed my second quest. I had to save and restart the game. This was expected.

I am expecting some glitches in the game because reviews have all said the same thing, but i am hoping they get a patch out quick like since they are not working on the game anymore and it is shipped. 42 more minutes XD
So far the game is good. It has a solid Fallout 3 atmosphere with a tint of wild west, Red Dead Redemption tone to it. I have put in an hour into the game, one frame rate glitch and couple of animals running towards each other while they should have been attacking me. Nothing major as of yet. I have said before if there are not game braking glitches everything else is tolerable. FNV is addictive so far....
I liked that you mentioned "atmosphere" which I thought was lacking in Fallout 3. Is it more atmospheric in FNV? I know you've only been playing for an hour. I'm just curious. So far the game is good. Yes, it feels more atmospheric, but i thought F3 was atmospheric too, especially some areas...
does it feature screen tearing?
Headpopper333
Generally, no. After i completed my second quest though, the game started lagging bad, like graphically, the frame rate went through the roof. Saved and restarted the game...
So far, it deserves the scores it is getting.

Would you say the framerate went through the roof, or plummmeted? Those are very different things 8)

Sorry, have not gotten any sleep since last night 12:00 am. I meant plummeted/crashed...:)
Guys, since i turned off my auto saves, cleared my cached memory and installed the game on the hard disk, i hardly get any bugs/glitches anymore. I am playing on a 60 GB XBOX 360. The game is awesome!

I'm just curious. fallout 3 has creepy stuff in it...mainly vault 106 Hell yes, dude. The vaults were creepy...omg i stayed up till 4am and had to go to work at 9 lol talk about a killer addiction almost fell asleep on the way to work this morning. this game is almost too addictive... almost haha. oh nice dead space helmet lol. this game is so frikken awsome i love the gamestop bonus items, the 10mm pistol is the gecko skull popper haha and the vault suit and canteen with the holy 13 on it rules, i might wear the armor until the end of the game who cares how hard it is, oh and hard core mode is way to go, dont be a panzy and whimp out... i cant wait to start a second run as a pure luck/charisma type i use my intellegent small guns character to boost skills to max and still be deadly but on the luck charisma i always have fun, put luck at 8 charisma at 8 and int at at least 6 prefer 7 and you have a very interesting charachter specialy in vegas. i love this game !!!!
Out of the big name companies Bethesda is probably the worst for game breaking glitches and glitches that force restarts. Obsidian is usually very good at small glitches and framerate issues. With these two I expect a lot of glitches in Fallout NV.So far, no glitches and the frame rate has been decent from a naked eye view.

okay i have not had many glitches, honestly this is better than fo3, only once so far have i had to reboot the xbox, try installing to hdd and clearing your cache sometimes its the data in there that these large games have problems with, its the huge open world that has to load into the cache for the game to work. people always try to compare games like this to things like cod or fable, but the unique systems in this game from weapon and armor degrading, and status changes limb condition, add on that the absolute size of the world, the number of interactable objects, the level of the ai, this game has so much and people keep bringing up one issue, considering the sheer magnitude of the game, the hrs you get, this game is one heck of a value at 60 bones, heck if they charged 100 id pay it, i cant wait for some dlc, i just hope we dont have a broken steel situation here where we get crap ending and they rewrite it to fit a dlc... i am so stoked i already got myself eaten by some strange dog with snake tail, and torn to shreds by death claws... i love fallout haha
I think it's great so far, I have only come across a couple glitches, nothing that is "game-breaking" though. One bug (maybe) that I have run into prevents me from completing an optional part of a quest. It happened when I was doing the quest in the Facility where you have to kill the nightkins in the basement. I am supposed to go back and talk to one of the "friendly" nightkins to tell him the news, but he instantly turns into an enemy whenever I talk to him. Anyone else run into this "bug"?
dude spoilers... now i know there are friendly nightkins... wait friendly nightkins... thats like saying friendly gecko... them things attacked me on sight and were decently tough in the first game.I think it's great so far, I have only come across a couple glitches, nothing that is "game-breaking" though. LOTS OF GLITCHES, mainly eerily similar to MW2 Afghan Rock glitch. I have already seen many enemies being stuck in the ground or in rock walls.... I also have fallen into scenery as well and could not get out. I wish I could fast travel at that time, but one stupid enemy was near. ME WANT UPDATE TO FIX THIS!anything with the sheer scale of this game is bound to have glitches, its just a matter of trying to minimize the ones that are "bame breaking" and to fix them you need them to be repeatable, so finding what causes those is hard since it is not always possible to pinpoit the cause when its different things that caused the barrier to not work, things like the afgan rock glitch is in the way the map was made, but most of the issues ive seen seem to be random, like something caused the game to not do what it was supposed to, like you cant fall through the same spot over and over, its a random occorance, just remeber unlike call of duty, this is one huge map they are working with unless you are indoors, so its a lot to debug, even if its broken down into chunks, the game has to make them seemless which aint easy. these things are part of the nature of such a large open world enviornment. heck some of them might be caused by the games mapping engine, it could be so many things, considering they dont have the time to play test this kind of stuff at the level they can for say cod where they can just keep playing same map over and over, this game isnt small. the glitches that i do think are fixable and should be addressed is things like lockups, game mechanic failure, things like when you have 95 percent chance to hit, put 4 shots in vats and not a single one hits... for 3 rounds strait... that happened many times in fo3, but i have yet to have that happen, but i do get the occasional melee attacker gets right up on me and my dude aims next to their head instead of actualy hitting them it shoots next to them... not sure why melee attackers get to bum rush me in vats but hey... that or my fave so far, enemy is behind "cover" shooting me through the table but i cant hit them... see those are fixable and need to be addressed but hey the game is amazing aside from minor issues. i absolutly love the new karma/rep system. it seems like most complaints are the same ones people had last game, and this game is just an updated version not new game from scratch, so not really a sequel as it is spin off. i think considering how fast it came out fallout fans should be thankfull we didnt have to wait as long as it was between fallout 2 and 3, i still wish they could have relased van buren or whatever.
