Hi. I have been playing Fallout New Vegas for about 30 hours now. One day, I went to the title screen of New Vegas and pressed start. Everything was working perfectly until I pressed continue. When i pressed continue, the game froze automatically. I couldn't even go to the dashboard. I just thought something was wrong with the disc so I bought a new Fallout New Vegas yesterday. I put the disc in and went to the title screen. THE SAME THING HAPPENED. now I'm starting to think it is my XBOX, but i still don't know for sure. I even tried installing the game to my hard drive this morning and the same exact thing happened! I just don't know what to do anymore. I cant stop thinking about that awesome game!!! Someone please help if you know what is going on!ilovecrackers1it's of course your xbox...
It might be, but it only happens with that certain game. My XBOX works perfectly with any other game except new vegas. It's extremely weird...ilovecrackers1i dont know why it doesnt work then
Or it could simply be that Obsidian sucks at making games, Yes they always seem to get the games I want to play but come on.... playtest your crappy games before you release them. I pre-ordered and picked up this game the day it came out, got home and tried to play it.... locked up.... hard reboot... play.... locked up... on and on. Now it could be my brand new xbox yes, although for the over 100 other games I own for it I have no problems at all. So I take it back and after some verbal jousting with the store manager I returned it. Fast forward probably 4 months later I saw the collectors edition for $29.99 and couldn't pass it up. Same crap.....so yeah apprentlymy xboxis allergic to poorly programmed games. Thus why I swear in the future I will never buy another game from these turds that call themselves a game studio.
Sorry for the small rant, I'm just a little upset that I really want to play this game but can't due to crappy programming on Obsidians part.
