FC never really interested me. I have it on the PC 'n I got bored of it. I borrowed the 360 version from my friend 'n my feelings for that game haven't changed.
Prey? Prey is a pretty decent game singleplayer wise, the story is very interesting. However, the singleplayer gets really repetative, especially during the last few levels. But something I remmeber is after you finish the game 'n watch the credits, they leave a message saying something about the sequel. Kinda interesting.
Anyways, I'd say get neither, and if you want a good singleplayer experience buy Quake 4. It's so underated and I never had those framerate problems everyone was talking about. It's much more interesting and fun to play through. And don't use cheats, it soils the game :) But out of your two choices? From my own personal opinion, buy Prey if you have to. But from a logical opinion, buy FC cuz it seems to have more of a satisfying 'n longer singleplayer.
