Hey i was just wondering if this is a problem with a lot of people? and if there is way to fix it, mine will not load from my HDD drive or my memory card.
Its a HUGE problem. I've been waiting for almost 4 months for a patch to fix this. Wasted 30 hours of my life only have my save file corrupt itself at aroun 62% completion. I'm completely stunned that there is still NO PATCH to fix this in sight.
Yes, it is a huge unforgivable problem, glitches and little problems are to be expected in a game world as huge as this one, but save files corrupting was too much. I still love this game, but when you get to the 60% mark, NEVER save over existing files, always create a new one just in case one does fail.
yes, i was 91% complete the game...I had 7 different save slots (i knew about this glitch and anticipated it). After 35 hours of gaming and pretty much done the game, it forze for no reason. I backed out of the game, chose the save and it wouldnt load...i tried my other 6 saves, all corrupt. as soon as this happened i traded the game in. its really unfortunate because i loved the experience...but that just killed it.

Wow. This is the first that I've heard of this. Now I'm nervous as I'm around 45% or so. I guess all I can do is make multiple saves and keep my bung hole tight.

Tell me about it...and considering i was 91% complete, i figured id bypassed the glitch (usually happens between 55%-80%). I figured backing myself up would benefit, but all it did was piss me off much more.
I just got the game so I at about 15%. I was talking to one of my buddies and he said he was reading up on the xbox 360 forums on Microsoft's web page. He told me about this that all these people had trouble with it so i checked here...I guess all i can do is make multiple saves or hope that they will make a patch by the time i get around 60%.
My problem started when I was in the 60% range too. At first it only applied to my last save. Then it went to my last two. Then my last three. I just started saving a whole bunch of times and never saved over any games. I always ended up saving twice, as if I did that and tried my second save first, that one would normally work. I don't even want to know how many save slots I had by the time I beat it. I also tried to leave itplaying as much as possible, as I didn't want to have to worry about loading anymore.Ruined any desire to ever play it again, and I had to make myself finish it. It definitely made it a very easy decision to sell it.
I rented this game recently and I didn't even like it enough to get far enough in the game to have my save file corrupted. Good concept for a game **** execution. Either way I have a lot of friends that have played this game and every single one of them has had this happen to them. It's absolutely ridiculous that ubisoft hasnt done anything about it.
Big problem. I love the game but this happens alot.It hasn't happened to me yet, but my friend has had like 2 or 3 saves get corrupted in the 50s and 60s of completion.
It really is a game breaking bug. I wouldn't bother with it until they fix it. I've tried twice already and I still get bugged at the 68% mark. All the hours I've put into the game... *sigh*.
mine screwed up at 46% man im pissed! i really loved this game and i still wanna download the fortunes pack but whats the freakin point now!!! ubisoft keeps saying there workin 2 fix it but theyve been saying that for months!!! anyone know a set date when theyll fix this via update or something?!
