I never used to check on the developers of the games I just played them, without knowing which company did the game I was playing until I heard the same logo music of ubisoft in both prince of persia and splinter cell, and i just thought "cool this guys really do great games" and I just started caring about wich companies developed or published each game and I must say today that im amazed of the quantity and quality that ubisoft has, by far my favorite developer, so I asked a buddy wich was his favorite developing company he told me...epic, and I told him "why?" he told me "I like Gears of War" and I just said to myself so just for one game....that sucks, now continuing with my topic, I think most people has or at least has played an ubisoft games, they are making master pieces (at least for me) you name it, Beyond Good & Evil, Prince of Persia Sand of time trilogy, Splinter Cell, Rainbow Six, Ghost Recon, FarCry, Raving Rabbids, Assassin's Creed, No more Heroes, Naruto rise of a ninja, heroes of migh and magic etc. and many more on the way, Im just wondering, wich developer is your favorite and why?
Ubisoft is pretty good i like em this gen alot but last gen not so much. My favourite would have to be Rockstar they got Bully and GTA which are 2 of my fave games. I also like SquareEnix the made my fave game of all time FF7.
BioWare! Glad to see lots of other people think the same thing. Who else...hmmm.... id Software for popularizing my favorite genre, Epic Games for Unreal and Gears, Black Isle for Torment and Fallout, and Warren Spector, for all the goodness he does.
I would have to agree with a lot of posters on this one. Bioware is my favorite developer. Most of their products they produce I have greatly enjoyed: Mass Effect, KOTOR, Jade Empire, and Baldur's Gate.
Bethesda (Elder Scrolls series) and Blizzarrd (Diablo, Starcraft, Warcraft) are also popular choices for me too. But Bioware hasn't let me down on any of their games. They have all been very solid and very good.
Use to be Turbine, but then they stopped making Asheorn Call games and crappy MMOs. Then it use to be Zipper Interactive for SOCOM, but then they screwed it up with SOCOM 3/CA. Right now, it will have to be Epic, because of GoW.
I love how nobodies said Infinity Ward, they make absolutely epic fantastic games. Not only that but awsome multiplayer games. So my number one favorite game developers are I.W.. They just flat out make me happy.
Dice LOL valve free radical(haze) wtf i blame it on sony who doesnt?, Epic made tonnes of epics btw so epic ubi soft make some great games and many others.
For years my favourite game developer was Square Enix but since Hironobu Sakaguchi left I have not liked the new Final Fantasy games that have been released. So now my two favorite would be Mistwalker and Koei
Blizzard most noticeably stands out in my head as one of my favorite. WoW is loads of fun to play as well as the entire Warcraft series, which I really enjoy to play.
