These days it's hard to say. MGS3 was an amazing game, very captivating, but I also enjoyed mass effect to no end. Gears was a load of fun, and I'm looking forward to playing through it again to get the score on my new gamer tag. But I'll have to say MGS3 was my fav game of all time, still waiting to get a shot to play MGS4, and I'll say that mass effect has been my fav on 360, followed closely by Bioshock and Gears of war.

MGS is the best Franchise of all time. But i think MGS 1 is the best of all time. I really need a ps3 so i can play mgs4.
For the 360 my favorite is Mass Effect or cod4 for multiplayer.
For The 360: Gears of War and hopefully soon Gears of war 2. Of all time: Fable and hopefully soon fable 2 :P, but of course mostly all of the FF games ive played mainly FFX & FF7 were great :)!
Halo 3, nothing beats systme linking with 7 other friends and just shooting ea other to a pulp...
Cod4 might have had a chance if you could system link ...

You've never played 64 player team deathmatch on one of several PC games. When you've played games on that scale, it makes 8 player seem lacking. I don't want split-screen or system link, I want more players in a game online without it making them unplayable due to lag.
My favourite games of all time are Morrowind, Deus Ex and Fallout.

it would be dumb to buy a ps3 for just one game thats not realy that good
