i'm just wondering, what's your favorite weapon on Gears of War? personally mine is the shotgun, it's so fun diving up to people and just blowing them apart:lol:
well the shot gun is the way of life in GOW lol, as i have experienced, ill go with the torque bow im not really good with it but its always rewarding to get a frag with it
theres a real big lack of weapons in GOW everyone runs around with Shotgun so shotgun for me to :SCrazyFox_444
Yeah, I really hope Gears of War 2 presents us with some more variety. Shotgun seems to be the only reliable weapon seeing as that people are running all over the map with it. Weapons seem to balance pretty well though. I would get really annoyed by people clustering up shooting each other with shotguns so I would just throw a frag or do a frag tag, or piss them off with a chainsaw. Shotgun is played out. Just do away with Host Advantage, it's the dumbest idea since Conan the game.
For me it has always been the lancer. It has such a good range that it is effective against snipers at medium-far range and shotguns at close-midrange. And you can always fire up the chainsaw if you catch someone from behind. A default weapon done right!
Sure it is! When my friends and I get bored with COD 4 and Halo 3 we always go back and play Gears for a few hours once or twice a month. I have my map cycle set up to keep things fresh and move some of the weapon spawns around. It doesn't hurt that we can get at least 6 people in when we decide to play and usually 8. We mix up the teams every few games and have a blast. It also helps that we all know eachother in the real world, so there's never hard feelings about anything.
I haven't played it for months due to the multiplayer being one big shotgun-fest. It just isn't that fun now. Anyways, my favorite gun is the Torque Bow, when I was playing, I could nail someone from across the map!

my favorite weapon is the red ring of death,because it turns red and destroys everything,and turns the screen black,its awsome,i got this weapon 3 times,and its very easy to get...sweetness
