GTA3 for me cause it had a darker stor and I just loved everything about it, if they just added motorcycles to it it would be the perfect GTA game in my eyes. Also I really liked the main character, he actually looked cool unlike the rest of the protagonists. Vice City is my second favorite.

gta 3 did have a darker story and claude did look kinda cool
it was a tossup between vice city and san andreas. Vice City was amazing at release, San Andreas topped it so.. it gets my vote. lmao at anyone voting for anything but 3, VC or SA.
Both Vice City & San Andreas are excellent games, but I have to go with Vice City here. There might not be as much to do in it compaired to San Andreas but it is still an excellent games. A great map, a great story, and some very creative missions.
Vice City was fantastic, but I gotta say SA, the sheer amount of freedom puts it over the top. Also its social commentary was much better, tho many missed that.
