If you haven't played RSV1 I'd say go for that. It's better than part 2 and there is still an online community so finding Live games is no problem. Ubi just made too many odd changes in part 2 for it to be better than part 1. Part 2 has stupid stuff like: random spawns in team deathmatch, ranked matches have a set number of lives so everyone plays player matches now, co-op story has been reduced from 4 players to 2, and you can't be heard by team mates when you're dead. The last one makes sense but because of it, no one ever talks now. In part 1, people were talking the whole match which made it better. Now, people rarely talk and most matches my group of friends are in are silent.
Rainbow series is the best. I never liked Splinter Cell, and Ghost Recon took a huge dive when GRAW came out. The original and it's expansion packs is one of my favorite games of all time :(
Can't believe nobodies said this, but download the demos, SC:DA has both multi and single player demos, GRAW 1 & 2 both have demos (think they're multiplayer) and RB6V has a demo (don't think RB6V2 has one though, but they play pretty much the same)
Splinter Cell is great but online is dead. GRAW2 is a great single and multyiplayer game. More people are playing RB6V2 online than GRAW2, but i dont like the feel of Rainbow 6 anymore. It just seems too.......casual. Everyone likes to talk about tactics in RB6V2, but NOBODY uses them. Its all run-n-gun.
Definetely get Rainbow Six 2, GRAW is good but get's really repetetive and it's not really fun after a week or two and the newest Splinter Cell isn't that amazing.
RS3 haha, best one. But out of your choices, I'd say get neither. I love TC games and the GR and RS and SC series, but all the recent ones have been lame. SC DA are my favs out of em, but RS3, GR(not GRAW, but the old school ones), and the older SC were and still are much better than their new counter-parts. It's because Ubi is trying to reach out to a bigger demography, making the games less hardcore simulation and hard, and more action/movie style. Lame...
