Featured Downloads won't work any remedy?

I can't view ads on any blades or featured downloads or the ad in the market place. I tried account recovery a while ago, i tried privacy settings opt in, and opt out. But nothing works, its extremely annoying missing free videos and stuff like that, I have had this problem since i had may account a year ago. Does anyone know of any solutions short of making a new account? (i like my achivements and playing my 29 arcade games online). Or at the very least have any info on the problem. I have heard of others that have had this problem before.

Firstly, you said you have not posted in a long time on GS forums and why do you have currently one post? GS does not remove or demote points off a person for being inactive in a long time and the only other possible quote is that you created a new account since your last one was banned or you forgot your password.

Lastley, I have no idea what is wrong and it could be your router or firewall, mine is working fine ever since I bought me 360.

i made a new account yes, anyway more importantly I know its not my router because ads work for a different account I made (not one I use to play). The only thing i could come up with was i might have put my age as under 18 on xbox when i made the account (i transfered it from xbox 1), but im 19 now so i would think its either not that or my accounts glitched possibly, unless i'm missing something, whatever the case i'm ****ed its been like this for a YEAR!!!!!Insane_Guy_X

That's your problem, XBL doesn't update your age status so you can't view ads on that account. I'm in the same position.

at least we can see our backround better than other people.....maybe someday they will fix it......until then i guess i have to use a diff account or check online.......(i hate bad luck......), but it could be worse.... i suppose

what i dont get is if its considered a childs account why in the system settings does it say " no child accounts found "
